This means that the students that are listening to the story could use their schema to recall events that they have experienced while vising their grandparents house. If I were to carry on with this book on day two, I would read the book to the students. After we finished reading I would have the students to tell me a little more about the book that they have learned since reading it.

If the students were working on fiction and non fiction I would have them to do this worksheet. This sheet is good because this book brings real life memories to students, but at the same time it is a fiction story. At the bottom I will have the students to tell me why they think the story is fiction or non fiction.
