         <description><![CDATA[<p>Goal 1 - Multiplication</p><p>The goal here is to memorize the multiplication tables as quickly as possible. Whichever section offers the most resistance that section must be practiced the most. The goal is to also understand real life applications of multiplication and why it is important. Understanding the commutative property is the key to this lesson. reciprocation and reversibility are the functions used here to learn.</p><p><br></p><p>Goal 2 - Fractions</p><p>To be able to successfully understand the difference between the denominator and the numerator, with their basic functions, and to understand how different fractions can relate to one another.   </p><p><br></p><p>Goal 3 - Geometry and Area</p><p>The goal with learning area and perimeter is to understand the difference and why they are important to know in real life applications. The students will be able to calculate area based on block unit measurements.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

Small groups and drawing can be used for the 3 lessons as well.</p><p><br></p><p>Summative at the end of blocks.</p>]]></description>
