Our school was commended for increasing registration numbers, but we needed more help because it takes a lot of hands on work. We knew we would, in theory, but from the teachers' perspective, they are surprised by how much community has been built from troubleshooting all the little things that build into bigger things. For example, figuring out one feature of the chrombooks together. The person staffing the Webb table when my student went to a student fair, and she said it was too bad that the Mueller school hadn't started yet. She assumed that since we were white they would agree with us. We have to ensure that the teachers are prepared an culturally aware for this. Asha mentioned interest conversation.
