         <description><![CDATA[<p>Germany Travel Guide</p><p>1. Germany is a country with diverse cultures and religions. It has the highest population in the European Union. Germany is one of the major economic and political entities in the European continent, and is the world's fourth largest economy based on international exchange rates.However Speaking of which, everyone thought that Germany is just famous for German pig's feet,but also famous for its cultural destinations.</p><p>2. The official name of Oktoberfest is "Oktoberfest". It is an event born by local farmers to celebrate the harvest of barley and hops. Some people believe that Oktoberfest originated from the royal wedding celebration two hundred years ago. On October 17, 1810, a grand celebration was held to celebrate the marriage of Ludwig, Crown Prince of Bavaria, and Therese, Princess of Saxony.</p><p>The Cologne Cathedral</p><p>     The Cologne Cathedral in Germany is the symbolic landmark of Cologne and the heart of the city. The bell tower makes it the third tallest church in the world and the third largest Gothic-style church in the world.</p><p>    Cologne Cathedral combines all medieval Gothic architectural and decorative elements. It not only has a beautiful appearance, but also preserves many precious cultural relics left over from ancient times. So, UNESCO listed it in the World cultural heritage in 1996.</p><p>3&amp;4. Before tourists travel to Germany, understanding local cultural customs and taboos can help avoid embarrassment or inadvertent offense to locals. Here are some cultural customs.</p><p> 1) Besides,punctuality. Germans attach great importance to the concept of time. Being late is considered disrespectful behavior for others. 2) Follow the rules. Germans are very rule-abiding, and traffic rules must also be followed. 3) German restaurants and small shops prefer cash transactions, so it is best to carry cash with you and tip 5 to 10% after consumption. On the other hand, taboos in Germany will be introduced. The most important thing is that Nazi topics and related gestures cannot be discussed, which is also prohibited by law. Also be aware that the OK sign may be interpreted as an insulting gesture. You should also avoid sudden physical contact with Germans. Germans prefer to maintain a certain amount of personal space and avoid hugging or patting on the shoulder before getting familiar with someone. Seoul is its capital,have a lot of high-tech industry.Because of the popularity of K-pop that makes Kores become tourist attraction.Also Korea have lots of beauty brand so many girls want to visit there,so do we.Korea have so many stuff that young people like,and this is why we chose Korea to be our topic.</p><p>[First attraction]</p><p>When visiting Seoul, Gyeongbokgung Palace is a must-see landmark that offers a deep connection to Korea’s royal history and culture. Built in 1395, it was the first and largest palace of the Joseon Dynasty. Although it was damaged during the late 16th century, it has been carefully restored and now stands as a symbol of Korea’s resilience and heritage.</p><p>The palace is large and full of traditional Korean buildings. The most important ones include Geunjeongjeon, the throne hall where kings met with officials, and Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, which is surrounded by a pond. The colorful patterns on the walls and the gently curved roofs are simple but beautiful, showing the art of the past.</p><p>A visit to Gyeongbokgung Palace isn’t complete without experiencing the Changing of the Guard Ceremony at the main gate, which shows how guards protected the palace in the past. Visitors are also encouraged to wear hanbok, traditional Korean clothing, for a unique cultural experience. Those in hanbok can enjoy free entry and take memorable photos in a historical setting.</p><p>The palace isn’t just a historical site; it’s a vibrant cultural center. Festivals, exhibitions, and performances are held here year-round, making it a living representation of Korean tradition. Whether you’re exploring its elegant architecture, wandering its gardens, or learning about ancient customs, the palace provides a well-rounded cultural experience.</p><p>[Second attraction]</p><p>It has many famous sightseeing spots in Seoul at which is South Korea's capital. Among them, Hongdae is a very popular place. The following is Introduction to Hongdae.</p><p>Hongdae is in Mapo-gu, Seoul. It's known for youthful energy and artistic atmosphere around Hongik University. There are gather around variety of coffee shops, street art, clothes shops and nightlife places that are loved by young people and tourists. The streets often have street performers showing their talents. It is the best place to experience Korea's young culture and creativity.</p><p>Hongdae is reflected the diversity of modern culture in Seoul and show the creativity of Korea's younger generation. This area gradually become the center of art, culture ,and fashion. It is one of the symbols of Korean pop culture.</p><p>Suggest of activity:</p><p>1. A stroll on the street and shopping:</p><p>Finding a special clothing shop, art shops and craft markets.</p><p>2. Watching street performances:</p><p>Appreciate the songs, dances, performances, or instrumentals of young artists.</p><p>3. Food Experience: Taste traditional Korean snacks, cafe desserts, or international cuisine.</p><p>4. Nightlife: Visit unique bars, nightclubs, or attend concerts to experience the vibrant nightlife of Seoul.</p><p>5. Introduction to the Culture and Place of the Songkran Festival</p><p>The Songkran Festival is Thailand’s traditional New Year celebration,which held annually from April 13 to 15. It is thought to be one of the most important festivals in the country, which symbolize the start of a new year and tied to Buddhist culture. People in water-splashing  sprinkled water on family members, friends, and Buddha statues to wash away bad luck from the past year and bring good luck for the year ahead. </p><p>2. Main Attractions and Activities of the Songkran Festival</p><p> In Chiang Mai, Tha Phae Gate is the central location for celebrations, where visitors can participate in city-wide water battles with crowds . In Bangkok, Khao San Road is a hotspot for young <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://people.It">people.It</a> is full with energy and joyous. Except the water fights, Buddhist rituals play a important role in the festival. These include offering water to Buddha statues, attending prayer sessions at temples.</p><p>1. Avoid splashing monks, pedestrians or pregnant woman</p><p>Monks are highly respected religious figures, and splashing water on them is considerd disrespectful. Similarly, pregnant women and those carrying babies should be given special care to avoid causing them discomfot.</p><p>2. Don’t use dirty water or ice water</p><p>While ice water is common during the festival, some people may find it impolite. Use clean water to avoid making others feel unconfortable.</p><p>3. Avoid wearing revealing or inappropriate clothing</p><p>Songkran is lively, but it is also a festival with religious and cultural significanse. Their famous cultures include war dancing, weaving, tattoos, wood carvings, etc.</p><p>2.Activity: Maori people particularly respect their elders and ancestors. On the days of reunion, they gather all their relatives and friends to hold family meet, listen carefully to the family stories told by the elders, and record this marital legacy and pass it on to their descendants.</p><p>Celebrations of Maori New Year generally last three to four day, and celebrations vary from region to region. The general way to celebrate is for everyone to get together, sing, dance, and make traditional Maori handicrafts and also the rich food and fine wine are also indispensable.</p><p><br/></p><p>Place: A city located in the central North Island of New Zealand. Locate on the south shore of Lake Roturua. Roto means ”lake“ in Maori, and Rua means ”second“. It is also the location of Lake Roturua, the second largest lake in the North Island. An area that looks super peaceful on the surface, but underneath the peaceful scenery is intense geothermal activity, which keep an endless stream of tourists coming here. More than seven hundred thousand tourists visit every year. The city still have the largest concentration of Maori people in central New Zealand and is a popular stronghold of Maori culture. Integrating traditional ceremony and languages, and using singing and performance activities to let tourists understand their nationality and culture.</p><p>3.When traveling New Zealand , you need to pay attention to Maori culture. First, you need to get permission to visit Marae, a Maori community, and avoid drinking, smoking, and fighting loudly around Marae. Second, it is forbidden to litter, swim in restricted areas, and climb mountains without permission when visiting natural landscapes, because some places have religious significance. Third, don‘t touch the works of art and crafts of the Maori people at will, which are their cultural symbols. Fourth, be careful when using Maori tattoo patterns, because there are some symbols that represent identity, and random imitation may offend them. When people first come to New Zealand, they maybe think that New Zealanders walk with their head touching the ground because New Zealand is in the southern hemisphere. But this idea is wrong. According to science, gravity pulls people to the Earth’s middle, so no matter where you are, you don’t fall off or need to walk upside down. Also, human neck and head cannot hold the whole body weight, and heart or muscle also cannot work like that. If you try, you might break your neck or feel super tired. When you go to New Zealand, please don’t try to walk upside down, or New Zealanders will think you are strange and may even laugh at you!</p><p>5.</p><p>In this semester‘s geography class we had learned about Australia and New Zealand.</p><p>We want to understand the culture of New Zealand because this country has a unique and diverse historical background and cultural heritage. New Zealand was shaped by both Maori and early European settlers, resulting in a culture that blends Aboriginal wisdom with modern Western values. Understanding the culture of New Zealand not only allows us to have a deeper understanding of the past of this beautiful land, but also increases our respect and understanding of its people’s lifestyle, art, language and traditions.          <description><![CDATA[<p>[INTRODUTION]</p><p>Korea is in Northeast Asia,and it is in the northeast of Taiwan. Seoul is its capital,have a lot of high-tech industry.Because of the popularity of K-pop that makes Kores become tourist attraction.Also Korea have lots of beauty brand so many girls want to visit there,so do we.Korea have so many stuff that young people like,and this is why we chose Korea to be our topic.</p><p>[First attraction]</p><p>When visiting Seoul, Gyeongbokgung Palace is a must-see landmark that offers a deep connection to Korea’s royal history and culture. Built in 1395, it was the first and largest palace of the Joseon Dynasty. Although it was damaged during the late 16th century, it has been carefully restored and now stands as a symbol of Korea’s resilience and heritage.</p><p>The palace is large and full of traditional Korean buildings. The most important ones include Geunjeongjeon, the throne hall where kings met with officials, and Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, which is surrounded by a pond. The colorful patterns on the walls and the gently curved roofs are simple but beautiful, showing the art of the past.</p><p>A visit to Gyeongbokgung Palace isn’t complete without experiencing the Changing of the Guard Ceremony at the main gate, which shows how guards protected the palace in the past. Visitors are also encouraged to wear hanbok, traditional Korean clothing, for a unique cultural experience. Those in hanbok can enjoy free entry and take memorable photos in a historical setting.</p><p>The palace isn’t just a historical site; it’s a vibrant cultural center. Festivals, exhibitions, and performances are held here year-round, making it a living representation of Korean tradition. Whether you’re exploring its elegant architecture, wandering its gardens, or learning about ancient customs, the palace provides a well-rounded cultural experience.</p><p>[Second attraction]</p><p>It has many famous sightseeing spots in Seoul at which is South Korea's capital. Among them, Hongdae is a very popular place. The following is Introduction to Hongdae.</p><p>Hongdae is in Mapo-gu, Seoul. It's known for youthful energy and artistic atmosphere around Hongik University. There are gather around variety of coffee shops, street art, clothes shops and nightlife places that are loved by young people and tourists. The streets often have street performers showing their talents. It is the best place to experience Korea's young culture and creativity.</p><p>Hongdae is reflected the diversity of modern culture in Seoul and show the creativity of Korea's younger generation. This area gradually become the center of art, culture ,and fashion. It is one of the symbols of Korean pop culture.</p><p>Suggest of activity:</p><p>1. A stroll on the street and shopping:</p><p>Finding a special clothing shop, art shops and craft markets.</p><p>2. Watching street performances:</p><p>Appreciate the songs, dances, performances, or instrumentals of young artists.</p><p>3. Food Experience: Taste traditional Korean snacks, cafe desserts, or international cuisine.</p><p>4. Nightlife: Visit unique bars, nightclubs, or attend concerts to experience the vibrant nightlife of Seoul.</p><p>5. Seoul and Gimpo airport are usually the destination.</p><p>Korean Culture and Etiquette</p><p>1 Politeness and Respect</p><p>People there very care about politeness and respect, especially older people.</p><p>This is reflected in the language, different age has different ways to call. When meeting people first time, it’s polite to bow.</p><p>2 Dining Etiquette</p><p>Eating in Korea, make sure older people eat first.</p><p>3 Dress Code</p><p>Koreans tend to dress well, and fashion is an important part of their culture.</p><p>[CONCLUSION]</p><p>After this research,we have some new opinion about Korea.Korea is not only have trendy stuff but also have their own traditional culture.Because of these new things rise up very fast so that make many people forget the tradition of the country.That is why we not only introduce the popularity but present their culture.We want to let people know how important is tradition and respect the culture of Korea.</p>]]></description>
