I chose this picture because as you can see in the picture above, it has been eroded to such a point were today it is slowly crumbling apart and there is barley anything to stand on. There are two main factors. One is the climate/weather because as it has rained and snowed, it has decayed the stump. Another is insects, some of which are beetles, ants, and flies. They probably have been helping by either eating the stump or breaking it down. After many years of use by me, my sister, and insects along with the weather, you can see that the stump has been through erosion. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I choose this photo because the bump in the road has many crevices that were eroded by water, ice, and temperature change. Water seeps into the cracks. Then, the temperature change would either melt or freeze the water. If it freezes, the crack will expand which then expands the road, making it deeper and wider. Also, humans can cause this kind of bump in the road because they will keep riding over it with their cars. In doing so, the bump will not be able to recover. THE END! Then it probably rained and it froze. Then it the water expanded and cracked the rock open. This also could have been roughed up by wind erosion!

The crack in this tree made me think that it was weathered.
2. I think the forces that could've cause this tree to weather is water getting inside the tree and freezing maybe, and my parents said that it could be some kind of fungi eating away at the tree, which could be why the bark is black.
3.The tree probably didn't use to have a crack in it a while ago, and it changed after it weathered and it ended up looking like this.

It made me think it was erosion because of the crack and overtime if filled with moss and other plant life. I think the rock split because it must of froze over, split apart, and now plants and fungus are growing throught the rock. I thought it was interesting that i had a random rock in my backyard and i wondered how it got there. The land has changed because i dont think the rock would be able to break in the warm climate of new hampshore, so i think it was moved around somehow to different parts of the earth.
