 Mangahurco, is a locality, where time seems to have stopped, where its residents jealously guard this natural treasure that every year appears to announce the presence of winter and the beginning of planting.  It is 320 kilometers from the city of Loja and 167 kilometers from Arenillas, in the area near the border of Ecuador with Peru.
 When its 40,000 hectares of Guayacan forest are dressed in yellow, they cause everyone to admire this transformation of nature.  This area has a wide range of tourist services such as camping areas, guidance through the forest, lodging and food.
