Hello there! Today I will be talking about what has happened for the pass 3 weeks for my History Project.
I did the areas of defence, transport, economic connections.
And I will be telling you now!
In Singapore before 1819, the defence of Singapore was weak because of people from Siam attacked Singapore and I was sad to hear but to make sure they don't attack again, the town resisted for a month by closing gates to defend themselves. People from China which were Quanchou traders
came to Singapore to trade.
Did you know that in Singapore before 1819, People uses boats to travel around and not like modern day cars? Yeah I don't think you knew about this.
