The problem we selected to solve is the United Nation’s fourth sustainability goal, Quality Education. Quality education improvement is needed in many countries and the needs look different for each country. In some countries there is a lack of educational resources that leads to an increase in poverty. Many third world countries lack learning software and a technically educated staff that knows how to maintain them. In more developed countries like the United States, students are going deep into debt for roughly four years and must spend several hundred dollars on textbooks for classes that are completely unrelated to their department of study. Students go to college for four years to get a good job when maybe a total of two of those years were focused on classes that will help them in their future job. 
The solution:
High school should be a time for students to be introduced to all the subjects and career paths that the world has to offer, while college/university should be classes related to your specific field of study. They would be able to get a degree almost 2x faster if they desire to. The added Liberal Arts classes could still be an option to take but would not need to be included in your major if it is unrelated. These classes could be taken separately as desired by the student. If students could obtain the education needed to qualify for the job they want, it would save college students tens of thousands in student debt across the world. That saved money by millions of people could be used by private organizations, wealthy businesspeople, and others to help third world countries get the resources they need.
