In an argument, support usually consists of reasons and evidence.&nbsp;<br>Reason- a reason is a statement that explains to readers why they should believe your claim.<br>Reason #1: Animal dissections in schools should be banned because it is cruel to animals.<br>Reason #2: Animal dissections should be banned in schools because it gives a negative affect on the students who dissect the animals.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Facts</strong>- Are statements that are proven.<br><strong>Statistic-</strong> are facts stated in numbers.<br><strong> Quotation-</strong> are exact word-for-word statements from others. <br><strong>Anecdote</strong>- are brief stories or accounts of events that prove a point about the topic.<br><strong>Order of importance</strong>- Least important, then most important.<br><strong>Pronouns</strong>- Words that substitute for <strong>Nouns</strong>, and <strong>Synonyms </strong>are words with similar meanings.  <br><strong>Transitional words/ phrases</strong>- Link ideas sentences and paragraphs.<br><strong>Conclusion</strong> is a logical follow-up to the main ideas presented in the body of the argument, restates the claim and its significance. When appropriate , includes a call to action (asking readers to believe in something or to do something) if necessary, ties up any loose ends. ay point out a new, interesting idea closely related to the claim that leaves readers with something to think about (without going off on a tangent).</div>]]></description>
