Most resources are interested in teaching problems. That is most resources would teach congruence just to apply it and solve for x. After reading the model lessons, it seems to me that Pre AP is focused on teaching what the mathematics IS, not just how to use it.

The model lesson plans are great. They have a ton of activities that can be modified to fit your students. You also need to make sure that you are keeping up with the rigor.

What would this look like in say a collaborative class?

Most lessons I saw are 90 minutes, I only have 50 minutes from bell to bell so I will have to cut most down or use 2 days each. So how will I cover it all and add in my state standards that I don't see included. I do like the different classroom ideas they present because there are lessons that I get stuck on and I tell them "I'm not sure how else to explain it so hear it is but if you see another way please explain to me"
