3 thing that i've learned during these two first days are :
- New types of tourism (wedding, cave, military, gay, etc tourism), i didn't know these could be a type of tourism.
- Enhance my personal culture thanks to the quizz in the morning, there were some destination or monumens that I didn't know.

Thanks to this class I learned so far different things :
- I learned about gay tourism, its safest destinations and worst destinations.
- I learned about the positive and negative impact of tourism depending on the destination.
- I learned about The Line, its positive aspect for the environment.

At first, we could learn about the different types of tourism, whether it be their definition see examples. But also the positive or negative impacts of these, which shows that tourism is interesting but not necessarily a good thing

In a second time we could see some monuments with city and country via quizzes. it was beneficial because it gives us knowledge of certain monuments, as well as their places

And finally, we learned about some projects planned in the years to come.

Thank you for this course about Tourism. It helped me broaden my mind, picturing images of places I have never thought of before. Thanks to you I have now a lot more travel destinations on my To Do List!!

1.I learnt how to do a pecha kucha presentation, and how to organize my time and my speech to fit this kind of presentation.
2.I also developed my geography skills that were pretty low by doing the quizzes at the beginning of your courses
3.Finally I discovered some interesting project such as the line that I didn't know about. Even if I am not totally conviced by these projects I think that it is important to know what are the innovation around the world.

I learned different things during this course:
- firstly I did not know the UNTWO and I find it very interesting so thank you for this discovery.
- Secondly, it's true that in life in general we talk a lot about the impacts of tourism but we never go into the details, so I'm glad I did some research on this subject. Tourism is both positive and negative.
and lately I discovered new work and presentation methods that will be useful to me later.

what I've learn from this course is that tourism impact a lot of this :
- the environment : need to be sustainable
- the include the locals so they don't feel left out and that that we need to preserve their environment
- their is a lot of type of tourism : sport tourism, cook tourism, wedding tourism, military tourism
- some city can imagine crazy projects to generate more tourism or attraction in their city without taking in account the environment, the locals ... etc

1. I've descovered the Pecha Kacha method. it is really funny the first time we do it.

1) I have enrich my knowledge and my culture thanks to the quizz. Now I have more references in terms of places, historical monuments! it's very nice to know more about our world
2) I know different styles of tourism, especially through the pecha kucha which was also an interesting working method. We therefore know that tourism is developing and this will help us for our future projects. We also know that tourism does not only have a positive aspect
3) The news, especially with the line and the world projects, it is important to be aware of what is happening at the moment, especially in our tourism, hotel and catering sector.

First of all, I found particularly interesting the fact of discovering new types of tourism because it allows to go off the beaten track.

Secondly, I was able to become aware of the impacts and benefits of tourism in some countries by consulting the UNWTO website for sustainable development.

Finally, I was able to learn and discover new monuments that I didn't know, improve my general culture but also give me ideas for future trips ;)
