Founded in 1927 as Houston Junior College, it initially focused on training future teachers, and then it became the University of Houston in 1934 and moved to its permanent campus in 1939. Motivation to apply to UH

The reason i'm motivated to apply to this college is because there is the course I want to do " Aerospace engineering, and I don't have to travel to another state, or leave my home to apply for colleges that have this course, also because there are a lot of cultures there and I won't feel uncomfortable, I know few people from there that speak Portuguese they're from my church.
