I'm really enjoying this module and I 100% didn't expect to as I'm not strong on math. I appreciate how Anjali and Vasileia take things slowly and give the building blocks needed. I really wish I'd had some of these basics at the beginning of first year (example: the i in a for loop stands for iterations! That really helped make sense of the syntax!). It's also great that they relate the math concepts to real world applications. This is motivating as otherwise it's easy to switch off. Really good job both!

Instructions on Workshop Worksheets

Hello! Loving the module so far. One suggestion, for the worksheets we get in the workshop, the instructions are great for the fundamental, basic questions. However, as complexity increases, I feel the instructions given in the questions are too simple, as in I dont feel like we can complete the questions without further instructions. This leads us to simply rely on GTA’s or lecturers giving us the answers, rather than trying to do it ourselves. Also in the answers, i think some more depth and explanations to what each line does would be useful. I’m particularly referring to the Week 2 workshop

Hi, currently it looks like the Assessment page is empty. Can we please have some information on assessments? I also can't find the slides of the lecture from Monday (Week 4) which had some info on assessments. it would be useful to at least know the dates. thank you

It was really great to have these. I probably only understood about 50% of what Rosyln said and 10% for Karl, but it was amazing to see them in action, esp Karl! Thank you for arranging it. I really liked hearing from all of the teaching team on their areas too. Maybe rename the course something that sounds more interesting? Fundamentals of computational neuroscience or similar?
