Throughout the video I learned that in order to help someone you need to use all of your senses. I was not aware that in each square inch of our hands we have over 600 touch sensors.

Subsequently after watching the second video I learned that the back of our hands have 100 times as many sensors as the back of our legs. I wonder what would happen if we had less than a 100 sensors in our hands. Would we have less of a sense in our hands? or would we have no sense at all?

I feel that without our sensory system the human body would not be able to function well without the use of our senses because our senses help us throughout our daily lives. I feel this way because if we did not have our five senses, what would we use to smell, touch, hear, see, and taste physically? Our brains would not be capable of doing everything physical for us.

I feel that if our nerves were to shut down, we would lose all consciousness and possibly die because without our nervous system we would be robots. I conceptualize this because our nervous system plays a huge role in our lives and without it we would not be able to move around like we do and nerve cells would not be able transmit nerve impulses between the parts of our body.
