         <title>Korva - Ysoki Technomancer</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Name</strong>: Korva<br><strong>Nickname</strong>: Cheeky (she has no idea why people keep calling her this)</div><div><strong>Theme:</strong> Ace Pilot<br><strong>Class</strong>: Technomancer</div><div><strong>Alignment:</strong> Neutral Good (Balance of Trade)<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Background:</strong></div><div>Spent long hours tinkering while on a solo mining transport route between asteroid operations on the rim to home world. On the rim her ship encountered a strange magical anomaly that moved through the ship. Korva was paralyzed during the event, but once the anomaly left, her mind was filled with ideas for new gadgets that linked technology with her new view of the hidden magical pockets of the universe.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Quirks:</strong> will hoard items in cheek pouches in case of emergencies, always has basic supplies to repair the tech she uses in her cheek pouches.</div><div><br><strong>High Concept</strong>:&nbsp;</div><div>Ysoki who augments the tech around her to channel the magics of the world that she believes only she can see</div><div><br><strong>Personal Struggle</strong>: Will try to be within arm’s reach of any companion at all times. Can spend time alone, but needs to know where her people are located and will send tech surveillance on them to check if unknown. Having some tech on hand helps normalize her more troublesome behaviours.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><br><strong>Problematic Relationships</strong>: Resents her clan on her home world who had forced her to do the solo mining transport run for the clan.<br> <br><strong>How did she wind up where she is?</strong> Her constant need for supplies for her tech was very costly and soon enough she could not fund it on transport runs. She was aware that being alone too much was harming her so she left her family’s business to pursue a position with the Adventure Squad. Pilots are always needed. Korva figured she was more that able to do any extra tasks the job may entail while still finding time to research and build her magic tech items (she has NO idea what she is really getting herself into).</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><br><strong>How does her family feel about all of this?</strong> Unknown and Korva will say she doesn’t care<br> <br><strong>What does she want to accomplish? </strong>Korva believes she is the only one who can manipulate magics and technology and is worried that people will ostracize her even more once they find out she is different.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>** notes prior to gameplay **<br>Zezoo <br><br>**gameplay notes **<br>First emailed Scraps - condolences about Kreel, trying to get more info<br>Seeking Lt. Bilfor Arcus for security feed<br>Found nearest security station to find Arcus' location<br>Captain Languard - says Outpost 72 is where Arcus is located (near docking bay 94)<br>riding tram - Tekas asks how Rohka gets results from people, ratfolk suggest makeover to make Tekas look more personable<br>Astral Extractions Head Office - blue rise tower, southeast portion of station<br>Hardscrable Collective - no base on Absalom Station<br>Bump into Arcus outside Outpost 72, ask for security footage, but so far denied. Gave Chiskisk's name so at least they is kept updated.<br>Tekas convinced him through logic to give us access to the feed though with the caveat that nobody should know he let civilians see it.<br>Party goes through the feed, Jchk had memory module in exocortex to record what was seen.<br>Tekas and Jchk notice a very small difference in speed of blasts that impact Kreel - cannot determine which was the first bolt that hit him<br>Jchk and Korva "fix" projector to enhance footage - slow down and zoom in and identify that only ONE bolt that hit Kreel came from side that was occupied by Downside Kings. Guy behind barrels was the shooter.<br>Docking Bay 94 - return to scene to see if we can find evidence around the shooter's location, Tekas uses profession knowledge to see if she can find anything. Nothing in nearby lockers, grate is an air shaft for ventilation and barrels hold nothing.<br>Email check - no response from Scraps<br>Morgue - looking to find more about shooter and Kreel's death - Kasathus at desk refuses to let us in, but Tekas and Rohka manage to get past his security concerns. Korva and Jchk remain outside to make sure morgue attendant does not leave desk <br>Kreel - dwarven hammer silver necklace, clothing -- hole in neck consistent with laser bolt from identified shooter, scraps bruises and old scars, no cybernetic implant.<br>Seven bodies came in same day - all identified - Zyrin, Fulgar Bay1720 was shooter from Rohka viewing medical records<br>Fulgar Zyrin - scorch marks of magic missiles, subdermal implant in left hand (security key) -- Tekas removes security key -- random gang style tattoos, stylized crown tattoo on left side of his chest -- clothing, several rings on his hand -- could not get more info on how body was identified (Jchk unable to hack rest of database)<br>Get on the bus and head to get food at Free Markets<br>Jchk scans Fulgar's subdermal implant -- not a common security key, has been used as identification for its owner "Fulgar Zyrin", gives his address, does not give recent access listing - been overwritten to scrub his logs.<br>Tekas gives a presentation about androids at lunch, clearing up biases party might have.<br>Arcus contacts Jchk - warns of security breach at morgue, he saw footage of our antics, Rohka gets Fulgar's file, but Arcus has banned us from all Security Stations and considers this case is closed.<br>Fulgar "The Knuckles" Zyrin - known enforcer from The Downside Kings - Arcus implies that we should probably go talk to the gang.<br>Dossier - intelligence on The Downside Kings, describes as brutal street gang that controls several decks of Downside through intimidation and violence, extortion, fraud, trafficking, etc - BAD THINGS - leadership high turnover rate, but currently led by Ferani Nadaz (female human). Use nightclub called Fusion Queen as a front, hub of their operation.<br>Inform Chiskisk of current state of investigation at Lorespire. Find him in commissary and he asks about our investigation. He is shocked that Kreel was assassinated.<br>Kreel did not like corporations that took advantage of miners and independent operators.<br>Kreel - next of kin - Gillian Rockhopper and Marcos Rockhopper, residents of Diaspora<br>Kreel was level headed man according to Chiskisk and he is baffled by news, though he had passion for mentoring new recruits for Starfinders, but first love was mining and astrogeology (child of Diaspora).<br>Kreel was against exploitation of workers of Diaspora, but not a violent man. Short temper, but tried to do good for those he cared for.<br>When talking to Astral Excavations, avoid naming Kreel's name.<br>Suggests looking at angle of Level21 versus Downside Kings.<br>Third party mediating dispute between Hardscrable and Astral Excavation -- His Excellency Gevalarsk Nor, ambassador of Eox -- found in embassy area of Parkside<br>ended early afternoon (late lunch)<br><br></div>]]></description>

Rohka tries to intimidate, fails and then squirts conditioner at them. Tekas agrees to pay toll of 100 credits and party passes safely.<br><br>Knuckles apartment in Downside - on second tier, front door is exposed. Walk up and use biometric chip to get access and door opens.<br>Jchk - guards door<br>apartment is cramped, foldable furniture, poorly maintained, spray painted CROWN on the wall, tables have drugs/cred sticks, dirty dishes and smells, wet towels on floor<br>azimuth laser pistol under pillow of bed - Tekas takes<br>survival knives in kitchen - Jchk takes<br>Rohka takes drugs from table<br>Datapad in living room, beaten up, but more advanced than Kreel's - encryption more advanced than home use tablet<br>Three Kings outside when we emerge, threatened party and fight ensued<br>Jchk critically hit, Zezoo evaporated when Tekas targets another King<br>Two assailaints killed, last one falls to unconsciousness when falls over railing to floor below, Jchk puts him out of his misery<br>Loot - 2 azimuth pistols, 1 corona pistol, 2 truncheons, 1 tactical star knife<br>Head quickly back to the lift and back to the hotel, distribute loot<br>Safety of the Inn-<br>Jchk works on datapad trying to break through encryption:<br> Crown logo - Downside Kings<br>Manifest - drugs, weapons, other things Fulgar involved with trafficking, accounting sheet of transactions<br>Communications - between The Knuckles and other code names, moving goods, shipment timings, assassinations <br>Our Latest Employer - target will be available on Dock 94 on day Tekas arrived, listed as dwarf wearing Starfinder Insignia, warns to keep out for Level 21s (thorn in their side since new contract).<br><br>Send off email to contact in Diaspora regarding Rockhoppers and if they know anything.<br><br>Datapad is a smoking gun with evidence of proof of assassination, copied data on it and sent pad to Arcus Bilfor via inn courier.<br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Had taken shifts overnight - Korva, Jchk, Rohka and Tekas<br>Station still talking about Acreon and "DriftRock" in news feeds.<br>Headed to Level 21s to see if party could gather more info on Kings.<br>More open, run down industrial looking section of the station. Not as bad as Downside Kings.<br>Jchk starts walking off to find a Level 21 (looking for tattoo). Finds a few individuals chatting casually and asks if they are Level 21s. Jchk says he wants to kill Kings. Told to see Mama Fats' and say we are friends of the dwarf.<br>Rohka suggests we check the location to Mama Fats' before heading in the direction the gang members pointed out, confirmed via datapad it is a corner store in corridor 217.<br><br>Mama Fats' - corner store of Corridor 217, basic sign and sliding door is open, hear Lashuntan music from inside.<br>Nobody immediately around, but see L21s around in nearby locations that could show up quickly.<br>Usual convenience store, small eating area and food service counter. See an old female halfling sweeping floor in eating area and moves to the front of the store.<br>Rohka inquires about dwarf on Docking Bay and halfling suggest party eats something in the food service area. Says she could use some help with making the sandwiches, so party follows into back room.<br><br>Party finds themselves in a large room with benches, crates, tables and a number of individuals working away. Halfling ignores everyone and crosses room into back door.<br><br>Office opens and inside are two goons and one Ysoki. We are introduced as friends of the Dwarf and Ysoki (Jabaxa) pours shotglasses full of liquor and is amused party drank. Chairs are brought out for the party.<br><br>Jabaxa tells party Kreel's death was due to Astral Extractions and related to the Acreon and DriftRock. Level 21s work for Hardscrable trying to prevent Kings working with Astral Extractions.<br><br>Jabaxa says he will pass along our interest in the conflict to his employer at and it is up to them if we are contacted.<br><br>Acreon crew missing and two corporations are fighting. Korva get bottle of liquor, Rohka and Korva are a bit drunk on the shots, singing while Jchk and Tekas carrying the ratfolk home.<br><br>Back at the inn - messages from Disapora for Korva<br>Rockhoppers -- they asked around, confirmed that Gillian was killed due to equipment malfunction. Marcus is still around, but out on assignment in an area without communications. Someone saw him two weeks ago and probably has no idea Kreel passed away. If we want, we can send details to pass on message to Marcus.<br><br>As Rohka and Korva recover from alcohol, research done on recent news regarding Acreon and the DriftRock.<br>Souls of crew are trapped on the ship.<br>Two corporations fighting over rights.<br>Interview with Eoxian Ambassador (mediator) - Gevalarsk Nor - very little information<br><br>Jchk builds a gun while the ratfolk sleep off the booze.<br><br>Message arrives on Kreel's datapad - live comm request from Otal Seressi - business man interest in mining concerns - one of the red native humanoids of Akiton (lobster red skin) -- squat solid face with very little hair, several scars -- part of Hardscrabble Collective inquiring about Duravar Kreel's death.<br>Rohka explains he is dead and that we are investigating what happened.<br>Otal -- says he was a business partner with Kreel and that Kreel invested a large amount in Hardscrabble. Said Gillian's death hit Kreel really hard blaming Astral Extractions for their shoddy oversight, she was not the first to be victim of corporate malfeasance. Ranted a bit in emails, but it died down a bit.<br>"Asshole Extractions" - suspect Kreel never managed to talk to anyone of significance<br>Otal is "Scraps", lead of collective<br>Who brought in the mediator? Ambassador offered his services and seemed like a good deal for both sides.<br>Last heard from the Acreon crew, they set out six months ago and received message from them a month ago. Last message was run of the mill packets of comm to families and nothing out of the ordinary.<br><br>Tekas asks if there was any chance of getting on the ship and Otal seems interested and will contact us at a later date.<br><br>Party does a makeover on Tekas - (rolls a 27 disguise) - imposing beauty of Ice Princess - get +2 to charisma based rolls<br><br>Party goes out to dinner near Astral Extractions to hopefully eavesdrop and check things out in Blue Rise Tower.<br>While eating dinner - conversations overheard nobody seems to be talking about Astral Extractions<br>Korva goes to sleep (Tekas reveals to Rohka that she chose to be female out of rebellion for her creators demanding she be masculine, then asks Jchk regarding cosmetic augmentation)<br><br>Next Day - message on the Inn's comm panel<br>Chiskisk -- would like a meeting about an interesting development<br>Party goes off to meet with them.&nbsp;<br><br>Chiskisk's office - gives party a datapad and says go to the address on invitation&nbsp;<br>Parkside address - prestigious area, runs along edge of parkland -- standing in front of the most imposing building, black marble and bone pale limestone with disturbing flourishes -- gates say "Eoxian Embassy"<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Start game in from of Eoxian Embassy<br>invitation on intercom causes gates to swing open, with lighted strips illuminating pathway to front courtyard to entrance.<br>well maintained, very ancient, dark without going overboard, gives you a sense of unease moving from bright greenspace of Parkside to the dark, eerie embassy grounds.<br>Wide stairs to doorway - huge entrance way - door swings open to reveal an Eoxian in the doorway, a very well dressed zombie, obviously a footman. Stand aside at attention, waving us in.<br>Inside two guards in foyer, standing at attention - zombies in better condition compared to footman, clean skulls (no skin/muscle) with three gems in a vertical line in forehead, wearing ornate armor, armed<br>Foyer is VERY still, no sound at all.<br>Korva says into silence (this is kind of scary) and it echoes throughout the room<br>Very large pillars, carved piles of skulls at the base, supporting second floor mezanine. Portraits of undead Eoxians through the ages.<br>Footman indicates party to follow, turns right.<br>Jchk tries to telepath footman, comes back as whisper, but also a blood curdling scream - told being led to ambassador<br>Now on second floor on mezzanine, portraits and sculptures of races in agonizing poses, some familiar and other unfamiliar races<br>Footman stops at silver inlaid door, knocks and then opens door for party.<br><strong>Ambassador Gevalarsk Nor</strong>: (his office)<br>Jchk shakes the ambassador's hand<br>Nor sits behind desk and brings up topic of the ship, rock and corporations' dispute.<br>Korva asks why - as an impartial third party he felt he had skills to help dispute.<br>Nor explains that we are new to the station and could be a neutral party to cut through the red tape.<br>Party explains that we aren't really neutral due to what he discovered about Astral Extractions involvement.<br>Nor accepts that he knows about the corporations current involvement, but still thinks we are ideal to investigate Arceon.<br>Wants party to visit each of the interested parties and collect their statements before heading to Acreon.<br>Joss of Astral Extractions at Headquarters - gather information from their points of view, scheduled in two hours from now - one hour at Astral, Hardscrable will pick us up at dock 72 an hour later.<br>Turn in all info to legal team, but package marked for Eoxian Embassy must be returned directly to Nor.<br>Jchk says he is happy to deliver package, Nor says there will be compensation for collecting information for him as well as return for the package.<br>Leave embassy, door closes - leave embassy grounds.<br>Go to Mama Fats to hand over the illicit drugs and got sandwiches.<br>Bulletproof 2nd Hand Store to offload weapons/goods - inside army/navy store, low grade military stuff, etc -- said we were sent by Mama, sell knives and pistols -- sold for 500 credits to elderly proprietor <strong>Johan "Bulletproof" Stahl</strong><br>Dash back to Astral Extractions to make appointment.<br>Corporate bland decor, big and powerful corporate decorating theme, everyone seems very busy and on task.<br>Hologram doorway to look like a mining tunnel of minerals and gems with corporate spiel about their services<br>Android receptionist leads party to Ms Joss in conference room 3.<br><strong>Ms Bianca Joss</strong> - PR department, liason for Astral Extractions - legal department involved, but she authorized to speak on behalf of legal department - <br>displays close up view of Acreon and driftrock and spends 30 minutes recounting details of legally binding company contract. Acreon was contracted to prospect for minerals and resources on behalf of AE. <br>Jchk asks where were they contracted to prospect - unexplored out in The Vast, believe the rock must have been discovered there.<br>Korva asks if they know where Driftrock was found - contract does not assign specific place, but they are sent out to survey so the resource must be theirs under the contract<br>Rohka asks for a copy of the contract - Joss says was passed onto Eoxian legal team<br>Tekas asks if there was an executive who oversaw the contract - executive is on Castraval visiting family, was on vacation before the Acreon showed up<br>Tekas asks for chain of command list - told that it was sent to ambassador's legal team<br>Joss is happy with her job, corporation offers many opportunities.<br>Arrive at Dock 72 to be picked up by Hardscrabble Collective - more industrial, cargo haulers<br>"Orbital Skipper" - registered with Hardscrabble and associated with Nor<br>Old shuttle, refurbished many times - pilot waiting outside working away on maintenance<br><strong>Lucas Karns </strong>(pilot) -- shuttled to Armada to Hardscrabble Collective, he's a member of the collective<br>Armada - gigantic ring around Absalom Station made up of various kinds of ships from every race, approach an old mining ship named "Dust Runner" that seems to be currently under maintenance.<br>Hardscrabble Collective - go to command level on deck 7, head down hall for Captain Sirisi (Scraps) - Hyllki (deep red skin and irises humans)<br>Said he was the person who pulled the strings to get party to investigate Acreon.<br>Gives party a tour of the ship, greeting crew members as he goes along. atmosphere of a close-knit crew<br>Galley - he was the person who worked on Acreon contract with AE, crew of the Acreon staked their own claim on rock, need to know the fate of the crew and hope the worth of the rock will ease any burden of losses of crew to families.<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

HC is reluctant to deal with them, but they parted on decent terms.<br><br>Korva is silent and Rohka tries to draw her out during the shuttle trip home. Korva deflects with complaints of hunger.<br><br>Arrive at Docking Bay 72 - get comm on shuttle notifying us that Nor knows we returned and he initiates a call to us. Asks us to be as independent as possible in our views and try to keep any partiality under wraps.<br>Nor informs party that shuttle to Acreon will be waiting for us in two hours at Docking Bay 72.<br><br>Korva starts freaking out. Jchk and Korva go to Bulletproof Second Hand store to get battery and browse on Level 21. Tekas and Rohka go back to inn. Tekas meditates with his plant. Rohka naps.<br><br>Jchk and Korva note that people are in the same places as if they are sentries on Level 21. Korva buys meal rations for Tekas and a battery.<br><br>Korva asks for Jabaxa's favorite, but not Mama Fat is not there so Korva is disappointed. They return to the inn.<br><br>Nor is at Docking Bay 72 when we arrive. Jchk asks about communications and is told that if we run into trouble we are authorized to make modifications to the Acreon if needed for the investigations.<br>Tekas asks about statues in embassy and is told it is an ancient art form of Eoxia. It serves to remind all Eoxians of their trials they must endure before they ascend to undead everlife.<br><br>Ringworks Wanderer model shuttle - modified for our expedition<br>Korva - Pilot<br>Engineering - Jchk<br>Captain - Rohka<br>Science Officer - Tekas<br><br>Traffic control system will ferry ship out and auto-pilot will take off. Low level chatter over comms saying control is over to auto-pilot, move out facing deep space towards the Armada.<br><br>45m to get to Armada, another 60m to Acreon<br><br>Tekas asks we take care of his <strong>plant Bingo </strong>if something happens to him.<br>Rohka checks for surveillance systems/bugs - does not find any<br>Jchk &amp; Korva hack the computer to be able to disable the auto-pilot<br><br>Lots of traffic between station and Armada -- large city of ships ring the station.<br><br>Once past the Armada, can see glimmer of Acreon in distance.<br><br>Sensors detect another small shape between us and the Armada, moving at speed following us. Tekas looks at sensors and detects a small interceptor of Eoxian design, no transponder that we can pick up, so identity is hidden. 16 hexes away.<br><br>Jchk ponders Eoxian politics, factions always trying to gain advantage over rivals via magical assassination -- Corpse Fleet which Eox has distanced themselves from as they are warmongers, been exiled and current whereabouts unknown.<br><br>Party chooses to keep an eye on the followers and see what more happens.<br><br>Tekas does a deep scan and discovers the ship is a Stiletto with an android pilot.<br><br>COMBAT:<br>Eoxian increases speed to intercept, so Korva disables auto-pilot and takes control of piloting ship.<br>Jchk diverts power to engines, we move 2 hexes faster<br>Tekas targets their weapons systems using the Science Station, but fails<br>Korva evades and heads to Acreon<br>Rohka aims turret gun at the Eoxian and hits the ship for 11 damage, blowing away the front shields and damaging the front of the ship.<br>Eoxian almost took out our aft shields and closed the distance depsite Jchk's efforts on the engines and Korva's piloting. Tekas managed to balance to shields to reinforce the aft shields.<br>Korva turns and approaches the other vessel so both guns can fire at the Eoxian, but misses.<br>Managed to defeat the Eoxian as she tumbles past us and she hits the asteroid.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Starfinder - 018.05.30</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Korva is upset, but Tekas mentions miners on Acreon need saving. We shut down the transponder hoping to have anyone who is observing isn't sure who crashed onto DriftRock.<br>Fly by Acreon - pock marks, scarred from meteorites, patchwork maintenance<br>External windows looks like minimal lighting inside, all external hatches are closed except aft hatch with emergency lighting. Port and Starboard airlocks available as well as aft airlock.<br>Korva and Rohka get into spacesuits. We have codes to get access to airlocks and ship.<br>Airlock opens, and everything is quiet. Not hearing airlock being pressurized even though powered. Something preventing the airlock from being pressurizing.<br>Artificial gravity is active.<br>Dead space goblin chewed on at intersection<br>Blue creature lunges at us from the corridor.<br>Akata - killed, but everyone hurt except Korva<br>Lore - demons that live in deep space found on asteroids that resemble the creature we just killed, miners encountered these creatures and meeting their doom.<br>Transferred Eoxian crate to Hippocampus.<br>Strange blue/green residue in is Noqual - not so common, but incredibly frightening material found in asteroids when mining. Pale green crystal, incredibly malleable and can be worked like steel, high tensile strength at low weight. Actually a cocoon that houses the Akatas. When time is right, they break out of cocoon.<br>Korva picks at corpse to get as much Noqual as possible.<br>Jchk and Rohka examine engineering and discover two Akatas. The party is split.<br>Rohka and Jchk manage to trap Akatas and party gets together again and opens one door to focus fire, kills one Akata<br>Second Akata disengages and party splits focus on both doors to lure it out.<br>"Jelly Dog"<br>As Jchk tries to get life support going, Tekas finds a tactical arc emitter, 2 bulk worth of Noqual<br>Jchk finds a battery with 12 charges.<br>Jchk gets life support and lights back on in the Acreon.<br>Jchk goes over the comms "We are the Starfinder Society to rescue you, if you are a pirate or unsavory creature, please put your weapons down so we dont' have to kill you"<br>Two space goblins emerge begging for mercy and safe passage. Say they came because they knew the ship was quarantined, explored ship and ran into the jelly dogs. Barricaded themselves in crew quarters to survive. Say they did not see any of the crew. Came in through same port we did, went into cargo hold and didn't find anything.<br><br>Korva kills 2, but Tekas is hurt and unconcious from third. Jchk kills the Akata and immediately goes to heal Tekas.<br><br>Go to cargo hold, two more jelly dogs, but seal them in - pinching head off the one that bit Korva<br>Crew storage had a laser trap that Jchk dodged (almost knocked him unconscious)<br>Noqual stash in room, healing serums, med patches and one disruptive fusion seal<br><br>Ship's Logs: standard logs, but also some specific video logs which are unusual. Queue those up and as we meet various members of the Acreon who provide info about their expedition.<br>Complaint about AE for long expeditions.<br>Next says they found a strange rock which has strange geodes all over it.<br>Captain looks harried/worried - how crew is under attack from monsters hatched from geodes they brought onto ship<br>Next entry - ship already darkened and combat sounds in background, someone screaming into the log while others are fighting behind. "There is something else, it came from the rock, going to open to the vaccuum to slow them down."<br>Engineering log - Captain says they evacuate the ship and retreated to Drift Rock with ship on autopilot to Absalom Station<br><br>Jchk scans rock - weird material on surface, but sensors indicate rock is hollow.<br><br>Decide to camp out on shuttle, rest the night and then head to DriftRock.<br><br><br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>On shuttle, still docked onto the Acreon<br>Jchk creates armor for Korva&nbsp;<br>Piloting down to surface of DriftRock - rock is very smooth without evidence of impacts from space debris<br>Notice one side of the rock was sheared cleanly off<br>Scans - portions of interior seem to be hollow with passageways, no atmosphere and rock is composed of rock and metal -- starboard side of rock there is a lip overhang and looks like an entrance to interior<br>Eoxian ship crash site - debris scattered, only partial debris<br><br>Tunnel entrance - pitch black, zero gravity - floating along<br>Rohka carefully drags herself along the walls to investigate side pass<br>Tekas asks how Rohka's tail is stored in spacesuit and Korva takes offense to the comment.<br>Discover body - Sigguan Marchand<br>Discover metal plates and finished material lining two hallways, and a Void Zombie wearing the Acreon's ship suit - it attacks, but party kills it before it approaches - looks like the remaining body under skin in chest area is moving around like tiny maggots working through the body - Korva uses acid energy ray to blast away moving parts of body<br>Jchk investigates metal plating to north - looks very old, but structurally sound - heavy duty material that is very resilient like battleship hull plating/support structure - path to the north part of the sheared off surface of the rock.<br>To the east passage - another room and another unliving creature called a DriftDead - Moriko Nash<br>DriftDead - attacks like it is tearing into Jchk's soul and ripping his flesh from the inside<br>Korva kills it and as the DriftDead fades, we see image of a woman with dark hair and vanishes.<br>Tekas checks his Mysticism knowledge regarding the DriftDead - people who die under extreme negative emotion become a restless spirit bound to the Drift, remnants of humans, don't move too far from the body.<br>Head to the south and discover a cavern with a door to the very south of it, and two Void Zombies<br>Void Zombie tongue lashes out at Jchk, but misses<br>Tentacle grabs onto Jchk - does 11 damage and then gets slammed again by the other zombie<br>Jchk feels rather light headed and weak, like taking 2 strength damage weak<br>Void Zombies are killed<br>470credits from credit stick on one<br>Azimuth Laser Rifle - 0 charges<br>Needler Pistol - empty<br>One of Zombies is the captain of the Acreon<br>Backtrack to entrance to take path&nbsp; missed to the south, Jchk gets fired on.<br>Korva broadcasts saying we mean no harm, but they fire again<br>Jchk pushes himself off and discovers what we saw was a hologram, but fires still shot.<br>Korva spots the android from the ship that tried to take us down and we engage.&nbsp;<br>Clara-247 gets shot by Jchk ruining her jetpack and drops her weapons and surrenders - she says she isn't paid enough for the task, hired through a shell company to make sure we did not leave the Rock, Eoxian ship part of the contract.<br><br>TWO SPELLS USED - THREE LEFT<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Party has captured Clara-247 the mercenary android and are set to investigate mysterious door.<br>Korva - 3 spells remaining<br>Discover a robot to the west, backtrack<br>Jchk hacks console - foreign unknown language that nobody can understand. Gets access, but can't understand what is shown.<br>head north through door and leads to huge double doored room to the east.<br>Huge starship inside<br>Hangar doors, two human bodies on the floor near entrance<br>Bodies have been eviscerated, intentionally or ritualistic<br>Tekas asks Korva to acid ray the bodies, they open doors and do so, but a large creature comes over the wing of the ship as the doors close<br>Garaggakal (mouth bat) appraoches door<br>scoops some of the ash made by the acid burning of the bodies and starts inhaling the ash of the dead<br>Tekas and Rohka pull back and keep eye on double doors<br>Jchk and Korva return to robot to see if it could be an ally<br>Jchk manages to get robot booted and breeches firewall to get into operating system. Sets party and Clara as friend, but Mouth Bat as foe.<br>Robot start patrolling hallways<br>Jchk investigates the door and find body. Looks like the aparation of the DriftDead we saw earlier. Self inflicted wound from pistol which is in her lap.<br>Robot opens door and attacks the Mouth Bat<br>fighting begins, Korva fires magic missiles twice, but became target of the Mouth Bat, losing most of her health<br>It disappeared into the big room, Tekas followed and it appeared right by the doors. Jchk gets killing blow.<br>Tekas investigates body of woman in closet, casting Grave Words on the corpse, but body too damaged to talk. Tekas finds data pad.<br>Korva goes to check out starship<br>In hangar, the ship is Sanjaval Vagabond hull, known for toughness and dependability.<br>Korva and Jchk try to get into it. The computer greets Korva and Jchk.<br>Korva tells AI that the captain is dead and the AI reacts negatively.<br>Datapad gets charged by Transfer Charge and gets into it. Pad shows a video.<br>Mariko Nash discovered asteroid and landed ship in hangar bay. Was attacked by Mouth Bat that could phase through walls and fed on life energy. She was wounded and unable to escape, she modified her force field to keep monster out, so she chose to take her own life.<br>Ship says Captain was gone for 75 years.<br>Tekas has a heart warming discussion with the Sunrise Maiden.<br>Cargo hold with 2000 credits in good<br>Jchk and Korva get Bubbles the robot to come to the ship with us.<br>Sunrise says the rock is incomplete, but there controls for propulsion and thrusters. Like it was a piece of a much larger installation/station.<br>Tekas and Rohka have a discussion about what to do with Moriko Nash's body.<br>Jchk wonders if people know where the larger part of this DriftRock is and Clara was sent to make sure we did not discover where it is.<br>Plan to set Hippocampus to autopilot and head back to the station.<br>Tekas and Rohka retrieve Moriko's body and return it to the Sunrise.<br>Ambassador Nor contacts the Hippocampus. Jchk routes comms through the shuttle from Sunrise. Party informs Nor about basics of the adventure. Refuse to disclose where his box is currently.<br>Moriko's home system - Verces<br>Decide to eject Moriko's body out into space on a trajectory heading towards the Drift.<br>** Module Done**<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Korva - figuring out what "magic" is<br>Presentation - corporate suit with name tag that reads "Vatta Incorporated Korva Vatta"<br><br>Rohka negotiates with Clara-247 to get a recorded statement of the events.<br>Starways Investments LLC - shell company that hired her<br><br>Disembark with crate, reporters and crowd surround Sunrise Maiden dock<br>Reporters start to barrage us with questions<br>Rohka says we are not at a point we can disclose any information before we debrief with Starfinder Society and Ambassador Nor<br>Now everyone notices it is Silky the shampoo Ysoki, but we manage to get through the crowd<br>Customs - meet diplomatic privilege to get through customs with package, Eoxian transport waiting for us outside Customs<br>Embassy rear entrance, underground garage - being escorted to Ambassador Nor<br>See Nor in a conference room a group of people sitting at table, one side is Scraps from Hardscrabble with his team and the other with Astral Extractions (Bianca Jas) and a severely dressed Vesk.<br>Gestures to have us sit at the table with him and asks the details of what happened.<br>Jchk says the rock contains a space station and not an asteroid.<br>Tekas and Jchk describe alien structures, security robot and ancient language.<br>Tekas says the station was infested with Akata.<br>Nor rules Drift Rock is now off the table in negotiations, but now only thing left is the compensation of lost crew.<br>Says that Acreon will need a thorough examination by specialist parties. Starfinder Society should take over investigation of the rock.<br>Nor says he asked Acreon to stop by to pick up his goods from Eox since they were planning on passing that way on the contract.<br>Nor takes out credit chit and gives it to party as promised - 2000 credits for retrieval of his property.<br>Nor leaves and his minions retrieve the box and we are escorted to back exit and a taxi.<br>Media - crew involved with DriftRock all over the news<br>Rohka - personal call and her agent is on the line and agent is freaking out she is doing something off brand and worried how to spin it in the news.<br>Head to Starfinder and Chiskisk - crowd of reporters out front, so party chooses back entrance<br>Poor cabby is freaked out, picked up from Eoxian embassy and dropped off at gun guarded back entrance to Starfinder Society.<br><br>Chiskisk eager to find out what happened on the Acreon. Tekas leads explanation, saying the rock is a portion of a much larger space station of ancient technology.<br><br>Moriko Nash was not part of the Starfinder Society, but were notified of the fact that she was missing and to keep an eye out for news of her location.<br><br>Chiskisk takes part of the ancient data we had downloaded and tries to match it for a known language.<br>Asks us to take the lead on the DriftRock investigation.<br>Korva asks to be checked out by medical facilities to see if she is infected by Jelly Dog Disease.<br>Rohka investigates Starways Investments LLC - Sumire Daedelus - Aposte&nbsp;<br><br>Mama Fats - Level 21 - have sandwiches<br>2000 credits worth of trade goods<br>Jabaxa emerges and inquires about the trade goods - Jchk shows cargo manifest<br><br>Tekas gives Korva a Starstone Compass - she thanks her and goes quiet. Jchk leans over to say he helped and Korva glomps onto Jchk.<br><br>Tekas and Jchk go off to run errands and find they are drawing a lot of attention.<br>Tekas asks for a loan from Jchk to buy Rohka a present. Mentions he doesn't have enough money, but Korva might (she does).<br><br>Scraps shows up at Mama Fats. Tekas offers 600 units of Noqual to Scraps. Scraps thanks party. Tekas asks how many family members are affected.<br>Scraps says Hardscrabble is blacklisting Astral Extractions and spreading the word.<br>Tekas goes back to inn room and picks up Bingo the castervelian pitcher plant.<br>Return to the ship - Sunrise Maiden asks if we are departing.<br>Rohka and Korva present Tale of Etiquette<br><br>Tekas is waiting in the galley.<br>Tekas gives Jchk a ring of resistance as a present. Jchk mistakes it as possibly something more than a gift, but soon realizes it is just a present.<br>Tekas gives Rohka an Amulet of Camouflage. Rohka hugs Tekas.<br><br>Tekas thanks Rohka for expanding her horizons and says using her magic she can fully realize being female.<br><br>Chiskisk calls saying the processing has finished and we are to go to the Starfinder Society asap.<br>Korva casts Comprehend Languages, but technically cannot understand anything more than they are instructions and warnings.<br><br>The language had been seen before, but source is unreliable. Halkueem Zan, no published studies since, Xenoanthropology on Castraval. Society has sent recommendations to the university. Halkueem Zan - Pyramid People of Ukulam only published reference to this language. Zan appears to be academically questionable. Zan's notes kept at University on Castraval.<br><br>Homeworld of the Lashunta - Castraval<br>Tawdry travelogue which talks about Zan's bravery more than actual anthropological research.<br>Chiskisk - does not like Zan's research practices/methods<br><br>Travel costs/lodging taken care of. 1000 credit travel fund.<br><br>Party heads off to Castraval.<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Korva - spending time during trip to Castroval studying everything she can on magic, realizes that Zezoo was a magical construct created out of her loneliness<br><br>Castroval - meeting Whaloss at the University to continue investigation into the DriftRock installation<br>Enter Castroval airspace, land in Ship's End port - much less busy than Absalom, luxury spacecraft and boats. Artificial platforms with buildings on top out on the water. Land at tourist side of the port, beautiful white building with tons of windows. Appears to be high tourist location.<br> Customs asks our business, we explain we are there meeting Whaloss from the university. Tell customs we are staying for a week, if extend stay contact immigration. Warns that while they aren't going to ban our arms, but says it is a resort town and no real need for them.<br>Lobby with map and various tourist displays.<br>Tall gaunt Lashunta holding "Sunrise Maiden" sign and sees Korva jumping and waving at him wildly. Waves us down. Very enthusiastic person who greets us in a very friendly manner, talking very fast asking how our trip had been, etc.<br>Taxi takes us through Qabarat through high end part of town and towards university. Linguistic Anthropology building.<br>Seems upset once we exit taxi and says we should get inside. He had spotted a mass of news vehicles lined up on both sides of the street. Whaloss explains to Tekas that they are dealing with unwanted media attention due to one of the professors.<br>Courtyard with glass walls shows a crush of people inside filled with reporters crowded around the receptionist's desk trying to convince them to be let upstairs.<br>Whaloss tells us to wait and is going to get professor to help us get inside.<br>Jchk approaches cluster of journalists by himself. From the conversations it sounds like reporters are trying to get a statement from anyone at the university. Approaches one of the video techs and telepathically asks what is going on. Tech says they are covering <strong>Dr Ailabiens 21:2 </strong>debacle. Gave a racist lecture at symposium which caused whole university to go nuts. Defending violent xenophobia, heated speech that caused a lot of anger at the symposium while others were siding with him. Huge uproar as university. <br>Whaloss appears again and tells us quietly to follow him. Takes us to a service elevator and takes us upstairs to Professor Muhali's office. Displays saying office hours cancelled and people look worried. Muhali head of linguistic anthropology.<br>Office is clean and orderly, with view of nearby park. Near door there is an examination table with broken stone with ancient writings/pictographs. Muhali is a Lashunta.<br>Zan an opportunist who got lucky meeting a tribe of ancient elves. Unable to assist us at this time due to controversy, but says if we help her smooth this controversy over. Need a public apology from <strong>Dr Ailabiens 21:2</strong> (contemplative).<br>A neutral party may be able to convince him to issue an apology. Contemplatives do not consider things other species do as they tend to be more logical and less emotional. Cautions us against a bully approach as that has not been working. Muhali offers to have Whaloss introduce us to Ailabiens 21:2. <br>Whaloss is uncharacteristically quiet and seems a bit miffed as we approach the Ailabiens office. Says he does not agree with Ailabiens stance. Tekas asks for a copy of the lecture. Lecture is talking about war between Lashuntas and Formians, but culminated in the Lashunta army's strategies against the Formians. Talked about treatment of Formians by Lashuntas which made audience uncomfortable. Got to the point that the conditioned sentimentality of the Lashunta prevented genocide. To win you cripple your enemies, let their emotions stop them from wiping Formians from the planet.<br>Ailabiens 21:2 office door is closed. Door slides open. This office is a disaster, dust, debris and disorganized. Single chair in the mess of everything. No good place to walk as a Contemplative levitates. He speaks telepathically and seems more receptive than he was in the symposium.<br>Asks about what we are there for since we are obviously there on behalf of Muhali in an attempt to negotiate with him.<br>Says his argument is the logical conclusion of the data he analyzed.<br>Tekas explains that while his arguments might be logical that it was disconcerting for emotional beings to hear. Tekas mentions how his funding comes from the university and how his speech disrupted the whole university. By making an apology he would improve productivity at the university and remove risk of his funding.<br>Ailabiens 21:2 says if he gets something from Muhali to get the apology. He wants his university access restored and any negative repercussions to be expunged.<br>Muhali agrees to 2 of the 3 terms, but must keep the strike in his tenure file. His publications have mixed reviews due to the lack of empathy in their presentation. It is difficult for the university to support someone who does not have the prestige of the university in mind.<br>We return to Ailabiens 21:2 to report on the negotiations. He admits the offer is logical. Muhali is happy and immediately starts setting up the apology broadcast.<br>Muhali picks up a small item off table and offers it to the group as a small thank you. Muhali says it looks like an elven language found on Castroval.<br><br>Solstarni's office - door is locked and no response, Muhali uses master key to open door and lights come on as we enter. The office is in disarray with artifacts shattered and scattered. Travelling bag on desk, open and half packed. Computer is dark with blinking light at base.<br>Muhali investigates bag and surmises someone was packing quickly. Stuff inside do not make sense.<br>Rohka and Tekas notice Solstarni's field suit is on the floor like it fell of the hangar. Suit is in good condition. Notice cabinet door is a dent in the door like something large slammed into it. Tekas notices signs of blood splatter similar to Kasatha.<br><br>Jchk looks at computer with Korva's help. She was planning on going to <strong>Turhalo Point on the east coast of Ukulam</strong> on Castroval where Zan was studying. <strong>Dr Eyrub Paqual </strong>emails regarding the ancient civilizations. Paqual grew more insistent to have Solstarni to meet with him to appraise artifacts which she refused citing a busy schedule.<br>Sense Motive from emails - notice that Solstarni's message was increasingly skeptical of Paqual's motives.<br>Rohka looks into what Solstarni was packing but doesn't find much. Jchk looks for whether she was packing to leave town or go out to the field. Seems like something solid has been sewn into the bag. Inside is a small folio and find some printed scans inside that he recognizes as Zan's notebooks marked up in red pen. Notice there is information highlighted in regards to Turhalo (Accursed Pyramid City of Loskialua) and Solstarni writes "Oatia Culture - dynasty of elven immigrants who settled in Ukalum).<br><br>Security arrives and asks what we have found. Jchk tells them everything other than the folio. Muhali says she wasn't to leave on her expedition for two months, but we saw email that said Muhali approved Solstarni to leave immediately. Jchk tries to trace false email, but fails to find source. Security will escalate this to missing persons case and take terminal to lab to find source<br><br>Muhali seems very confused by circumstances. Has no idea who Dr Paqual is as that name has not be at any symposiums. Rohka searches general network and finds his articles focused on elven ruins and published in the past six years. Shows up as secondary author rather than primary. Rohka notes who funds his work as well as his associations. Jchk and Korva find a lot of weird inconsistencies (birthdate wrong, locations/timelines don't match) - Dr Paqual sounds fake.<br><br>Head downstairs to view security footage. Building has cameras in hallways and entrance. Security scrubs through footage until 2 days ago. During the late evening foot traffic is at minimum except for three Lashuntas carrying heavy backpacks and non-descript uniforms. They go into stairwell, but do not emerge and no footage of them leaving the building.<br><br>Korva finds a de-sync where footage looped so at least we have a timeframe and a group of people who did not want to be seen. Jchk identifies uniforms and recognizes them as Gateway District Port Authority in Castroval. <br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

Security downloads security footage. Muhali waves us over. Inspector says normally they don't collaborate with Starfinders, but he says we are already involved. Investigations on our own is okay, but it is now a missing persons case and under their control. We should bring any information to security before acting.<br>Security will contact us to share information about computer. <br>Muhali is concerned that her friend is missing and someone has gone to the trouble of hacking her email, broke into the university and kidnapped.<br><br>3211 - Tekas' number (3225 at start of campaign)<br><br>Rohka points out inconsistencies in Paqual's published works and data.<br>Return to Sunrise Maiden for the night.<br><br>Folio - Turhalo Point the entrance to Ukalum, notes in margins on the scans of Zan's journal and archives. Will get us a Visa to depart from Port Authority to Turhalo Point Research Station. Arrange for <strong>Dr Khair Al-Nuaf </strong>to escort us and provide us with materials from university stores to aid our expedition. Might want to find a translator to help if we find civilizations in the jungle. Visa should be ready by the time we get to Port Authority. Warns that temperature will be in the low 100F over the next few weeks.<br>Muhali - assures Korva that Zan's factual accounts were highly accurate for the time, his mention of landmarks and recounting of flora/fauna are still valid. Do not use them as a cultural guide.<br>Muhali - Rohka asks if she can recommend a translator, says ask the Port Authority or the Research Station.<br><br>Tekas/Jchk - head to Port Authority - boring, but busy location - lots of large buildings with lots of land vehicles coming in and out of the port, many sea vessels out in bay and craft ferrying between ships and port. Nice looking office as they enter, various kiosk windows they can queue up to.<br>VISA for two weeks, taking Turhalo Point Research Station Aiudara <br><br>Rohka and Korva arrive at the Port Authority. The party approaches kiosk. Port Authority person mentions that they are getting a lot of traffic to Ukulam. Large group of 15 people from university came through three days ago. Jchk mentions that we should be the only group going to Ukulam. Party does biometric scan to authenticate, verifies that we have authority from Muhali. Starts looking at it a bit more and looking more concerned. Says she is missing signatures and records for previous party.<br>Several crates and shows us a manifest that list Solstarni and Paqual.<br>Visas given to the party and escorted to Aiudaras - transition through portal is a little jarring from going to city of Qabarat to the thick of the jungle with extreme temperatures. Emerge in a paved area with security and a dozen feet from a series of nondescript functional buildings. Pathway directing through area and usher into air conditioned building. Old functional building.<br><br><strong>Dr Khair Al-Nuaf</strong>, biologist with the university introduces himself.<br>Rohka asks about the other group that came through from the university. Khair says they had a lot of gear and headed into the jungle. Spotted Solstarni, but said she looked a little sick and he was unable to talk with her. <br>Escorts us outside again and across campus to a university building. Dr is visibly sweating and fans himself. A couple of people are inside and continue on their business, in a functional room. <br>Khair gives us a bunch of items from the university storage.<br><br>Korva asks about translator, but Khair wants to know where we are heading. We bring out the folio and are directed to Singing Range. Khair says only one person capable of helping, but they are shipping out tomorrow. One of the security personnel and has been here for a few years, <strong>Jurgan Gemfy (translator - human)</strong>.<br><br>Usual rate is 600 credits for a translator.<br><br>At the barracks there are a few people relaxing and socializing. One person packing - Jurgan. Rohka tries to get Jurgan to assist us. People around start to laugh since the offer of 800 credits was so good and Rohka did not need to appeal to his good heart. Party heading to the Singing Ridge. Jurgan says he will meet us at the admin building when he has gathered his gear.<br><br>Journey into the jungle - 10 to 12 days of marching through jungle. PC armor can protect for only one day per level of armor before running out. Need to decide how long to use armor environmental regulation during day.<br>Fire damage if in hot environment. +2 to survival checks. Heavy armor gets -4.<br><br>Level 1 second skin armor - one day of protection<br><br>120 miles - 12 miles per day to get to destination<br><br>Spent a lot of time figuring out equipment and logistics. Korva starts singing Twit Twit Twoo to repel insects. <br><strong>First </strong>check - 4 points - see interesting floral and fauna.<br>1d4 damage from Fort check - Korva takes 2<br><br><strong>Second </strong>check - 4 points - synchronized hunting display from multi-pedes ambushing a nearby bird, linked exoskeleton to surround bird in a shell and when they disengage <br>Korva takes 4, but spends armor point to only take 2<br><br><strong>Third </strong>check - 4 points - clearing ahead, see the trees are moving from larger six legged creatures body slamming around and foraging from forest floor - <strong>Yaruk </strong><br>Jurgan says they will rampage if they get riled up, says he has never seen this many in one place before<br>Party stealth their way through the herd of Yaruk<br>Hear booming calls of Yaruk and feel it vibrate through their bodies as they pass through<br>A huge cracking sound from far away - like a Shirren Eye rifle from off to our left, animals rear up and start to stampede, Yaruk start to target us as we are fleeing through the herd.<br>Trampling Titans event - <br>Yaruk focus on Korva to start, smash into a tree sending it crashing on top of her and was knocked down briefly<br>Rohka intimidates the Yaruk by screaming at them with crazy hair <br>Tekas navigates her way through the herd<br>Jchk tries to scramble, but fails<br>Yurak body checks Tekas, but she dodges it<br>Korva activates Ghost Sound to mimic Yurak distress sounds, which gives party a bit of breathing room<br>Rohka intimidates the Yaruk by screaming at them with crazy hair again<br>Tekas navigates through the herd again<br>Yurak crashes through the trees and splinters spray party<br>Korva tries to hide and fails<br>Rohka tries to scare them away, but the Yurak and no longer affected<br>Tekas heals Korva<br>Jchk tries to distract through intimidation by blasting sounds from his armour<br>Yurak smashes a tree which falls on Jchk, but he dodges it<br>Korva freaks out and screams at the top to intimidate the creatures<br>Rohka tries to spook the animals again<br>Tekas navigates succesfully<br>Jchk tries to scramble<br>Yurak see something up ahead and start turning direction - get minus 4<br>Korva tries to squeeze her way through and fails.<br>Tekas tries to scramble<br>Rohka tries to scramble and succeeds<br>Jchk navigates through the herd, hears running water in direction we are running<br>Yurak - smashes tree and sprays<br>Korva tries to navigate<br>Rohka tries to spook and succeeds<br>Tekas tries to navigate and rolls a 1<br>Jchk scrambles and succeeds<br>Yurak trumpets loudly at Tekas, 2d6 damage and penalty unless save - out for round as she is dazed<br>Korva squeezes and fails<br>Rohka intimidates<br>Tekas heals Korva by taking her wounds upon himself<br>Jchk fails scramble<br>Yurak - direction shifts so no repeat of task<br>Korva tries to navigate and stumble into a ditch<br>Rohka tries to navigate and succeeds, grabs Korva from ditch. Jchk helps Tekas and everyone bolts towards edge of jungle.<br>A large river, swiftly moving and a stone bridge nearby.<br>Korva is pissed that Tekas is taking wounds onto herself to heal Korva.<br>Running towards a bridge, cross over as Yuraks plow through edge of the jungle - one of them is charging towards us, but the bridge collapses under it. The rest of the herd cool off and start drinking from the river.<br>Bridge leads to a path that leads to a green open area and we see the<strong> Runed Obelisk</strong>.<br>Korva asks about<br>Rohka says she is not camping near a sacrificial giant sky penis<br><br><strong>Kaukariki </strong>- monkeys are in the trees with stingers on the tails, Jurgan says they are kind of assholes<br>Jchk asks Korva if that sound is what she was supposed to make and she tries to mimic it, they start to follow.<br><br>The trees/roots have displaced the stones so that there are carved blocks surrounding the area.<br>As we moved towards the obelisk, the Kaurkariki are becoming more agitated and upset at our approach.<br><br>Jurgen finds some fragments and says it indicates some kind of watchtower. Points to obelisk and says it is more complete in ancient elven. At the base is the script: Loskialua, monastery of starsong, embassy of the spheres, and Temple of the Twelve.<br><br>Four Kaukariki bare their teeth at us and have descended to the ground. As we back away, the ones on the ground do not move once we are moving away.<br>They keep following us in a playful manner now. Jurgan gets hit in the head with a fruit and cuts into it and starts eating it. Party passes on eating the fruits.<br><br>Set up camp for the night.<br><br><strong>Forth </strong>check - 4 points - head out again according to Zan's notes. Hear a rustling noise. Tekas and Jchk notice a multicoloured quadraped that looks like a cross between and a tiger and a plant. <strong>Ksarik </strong>&nbsp;- native to planet started off as mobile plants, but they plant seedlings in corpses to breed. Not particularly intelligent, but have a basic pack mentality.<br>Ksarik bounds away once it notices us. Party keeps moving, but keeps an eye out.<br>Later in the trek Ksarik seems to appear again - Jchk identifies that it is the same creature.<br>Jurgan shrugs and has never seen it before.<br>Party chooses to move further down the path and hear a weak yelling in the distance which sounds like someone very tired yelling prayers and asking for death.<br>Rohka stealths and vanishes, Korva yells out asking if they are okay.<br>Along the side of the road there is a large rocky outcropping. At the base is a sickly looking lashunta. <strong>Ralkawi </strong>warns us to stay away as she makes her peace with the Devourer and tries to commit suicide. She says the Devourer says it is his will and she accepts her death. Tekas casts detect affliction and asks if she can heal them instead of allowing her commit suicide. She has parasitic organism inside of her entering through her leg and one large continous organism that has burrowed through her body. It is starting to invade her brain. She is on death's door.<br>Jchk asks Lashunta to tell us the cause of her affliction and he would speed their death. <br>Jchk asks if she has seen a female kasatha and Ralkawi says Solstarni's name. Jchk asks what they intended with the professor and she says "the temple".<br>Something hits Rohka in the neck and swears loudly even though she was stealthed. She touches the back of her neck and pulls it out and sees a large thorn. She stumbles out of hiding towards party with the thorn.<br>Jchk checks Ralkawi and notes that the entry point of her wound matches Rohka's.<br>Tekas casts detect affliction and sees spores within wound.<br>Rohka resists spores with fortitude spores.<br>Korva hears a thorn zip past her from rustling in bushes nearby.<br>Rohka is pissed and looks for a target, but misses<br><strong>Korva gets hit by thorn - right shoulder blade</strong><br>Jchk hits with laser rifle<br>Tekas casts wisp ally - provides harrying fire to give +2 bonus on next ranged attack<br>Korva fires magic missile and hits<br>Rohka takes another shot and misses<br>Ksarik moves for cover out of line of sight<br>Jchk fires and misses<br>Tekas fires and hits<br>Korva magic missiles<br>Rohka misses<br>Ksarik spits acid at Rohka<br>Jchk fires again and hits<br>Tekas fires and misses<br>Korva destroyed Ksarik<br><br>Jchk and Tekas investigates Ksarik to see why it was so aggressive.          <description><![CDATA[<div>No consent to healing which harms healer - resolved via Discord fireside RP<br><br>Korva continues to fail her disease saves and becomes weakened, sickened and impaired.<br><br>Party decides to med-evac Korva to medical facility. Jergen says we need to find a clearing for the med-evac to land.<br>Tekas offers to come with Korva, but Korva demands she stays to protect everyone else.<br>Korva does dancing lights to direct med-evac. Two medic arrive with their hover stretcher and take Korva away. Two days of treatment in medical bay.<br><br>Party of Three now -- party continues on through the jungle<br><br>Jurgan is climbing a tree up towards a thick limb. He yells down and says the party might be trouble, but he needs to check something. <strong>Kaukariki </strong>disappear into petal pods and Jurgan appears and slides down to the ground. He says unfortunately we have some trouble coming. Checked ahead to the west and an incoming storm so the party needs to find shelter.<br><br>The party reinforces their survival tents with nearby materials and Tekas' survival knowledge. Through holes of canopy you can see the high winds and large fluffy pink clouds moving in the direction the wind is blowing.<br>Storm hits as the party cowers in the tents. A wall of pink haze comes rushing through the forest, driving a bunch of creatures fleeing from the pink dust cloud. When it hits the tents, the party feels the whole structure shake and the wind whips the cloud around them.<br><br>This goes on for several hours - Mold Storm - all giant mushrooms release their spores at once - as storm abates, the spores linger, but Jurgen assures party that it is now harmless. Spores still wafting through the air and the upper canopy is covered in mushroom spores. Kaukariki emerge from petal pods and quietly move away. The jungle is unusually silent now.<br><br>Next morning - party continues on<br>Make good progress and can see in the canopy ahead that the jungle is becoming thinner and the party finds themselves on the edge of the jungle and opens up into a bizarre vista. Which centers on an enormous stone statue of an elf covered with welts and one arm reaching up to the sky. Robes are in metal and are jagged and rusted.<br><br>Party decides to check for recent activity to determine if they need to continue on in pursuit of the professor or not.<br><br>To the north they spot a creature that is snuffling the ground. <strong>Whiskered Renkroda</strong> , as the party watches it seems unsteady and keeps banging its head against ruins rocks and continues. Doesn't look natural and seems like the creature is sick.<br>Jchk approaches slowly to try to determine if the creature was infected by a Ksarik like Korva. Finds the creature covered in the pink spores and seems in distress.<br>Party figures they should put it out of its misery. Jchk and Tekas both miss their initial shot. Rohka takes aim and misses as well.<br>The Renkroda snaps it's head towards the sounds and starts heading towards the party.<br>A shot rings out and misses Tekas from some other direction.<br>Jchk hits and does 10 damage.<br>Rohka takes cover and tries to spot shooter. Unable to find the location of the shot.<br>Lizard gets in melee range of Jchk and bites for 16 damage.<br>Tekas identifies the shot as a shirren eye rifle again and is unable to spot location, but thinks it may be east of the party in the palm of the statue. Tekas shoots lizard and hits for 8 damage.<br>Jchk moves away from the lizard to get out of range, gets swiped at with the tail, but it misses and Jchk tries to shoot it again.<br>Rohka tries to look at the palm and does not see the shooter.<br>Lizard bangs its head against ruin wall and then unleashes a piercing roar and everyone in 60ft will save. Tekas and Rohka feel shaken for five rounds.<br>Tekas shoots the lizard and wounds it.<br>A shot misses Jchk. Jchk throws an entangle grenade at the lizard and it is entangled until it escapes (or 7 rounds). Jchk notices that the shot came from one of the rusted holes in the head of the statue.<br>Rohka fires and misses.<br>Lizard runs closer to Rohka and Tekas, but seems confused.<br>Tekas sprints towards the statue<br>Jchk moves to line of sight on lizard, and misses<br>Rohka hits and does 7 damage.<br>Tekas keeps running towards statue<br>Jchk fires and misses.<br>Rohka hits for 3 damage<br>Lizard moves towards Rohka again<br>Jchk hits and does 4 damage<br>Rohka does a trick attack for 11 dmg - heavily wounded now<br>Tekas runs and finds an entrance way between the feet of the statue. Inside at ground level you can see a basin in the middle of the first room and corroded pipes hanging down from the ceiling. The walls are slick with condensation and carved with images of figures in various states of undress as they are watching. Ceiling is a dome above the basin. Room is lit with some shop lights (not original).<br>Jchk shoots and hits<br>Rohka takes another shot and misses<br>Lizard is distressed by entanglement.<br>Tekas moves into the entryway and notices across the room there is a set of stairs that lead upwards. More light comes from up the stairs.<br>Jchk hits again<br>Rohka critically hits and kills the lizard as it bursts into flame.<br><br>Inside the statue:<br>Tekas moves to the base of the stairs<br>Jchk provides harrying fire<br>Rohka runs across the courtyard<br>Tekas gets to the top of the stairs and meets two assailants who appear to be <strong>Devourer Cultists</strong>.<br>Cultists fire at Tekas as they were ready for her appearance. One throws a shock grenade that hits Tekas.<br>Tekas tries to fire and misses.<br>Jchk reloads then moves towards statue<br>Rohka makes her way to the statue<br>Cultists fire at Tekas<br>Tekas hits Cultist and wounds them<br><strong>Salask </strong>(shirren sniper) hits Tekas<br>Cultists hit Tekas and she is wounded<br>Tekas hits cultist, but another cultist has closed in on her<br>Salask fires at Tekas and she is heavily wounded<br>Cultist closes in hits Tekas with a longsword<br>Tekas uses her move action to healing channel and heals 10 pts<br>Tekas kills one of the cultists and tries to hide behind the bench to try to avoid a hit from the sniper<br>Salask hits again and Tekas is down to 6 hp<br>Rohka makes it to the base of the stairs<br>Cultist swipes at Tekas and knocks her unconscious<br>Tekas stabilizes using a resolve point<br>Salask shouts "There are two more!"<br>Cultist who downed Tekas shouts "There is one at the bottom of the stairs"<br>Rohka chucks hair products at cultist at the stop the stairs and hits.<br>Wounded cultist shoots at Rohka and misses and retreats to cover<br>Tekas wakes and heals herself (still heavily damaged)<br>Jchk reaches the top of the stairs, protects Tekas with his body and shoots at cultist and hits him for 11 damage<br>Rohka takes cover behind a bench and throws more hair products before she fires and kills the cultist.<br>Tekas heals herself to wounded status<br>Salask spots Jchk and hits for 8 damage, then retreats out of view<br>Jchk approaches and hits for 8 damage<br>Jchk says to give up and we would not kill him. Jchk senses a wave of disgust and nihilism.<br>Rohka hits Salask<br>Tekas hits Salask and wounds them<br>Salask hits Jchk and heavily damages him<br>Jchk follows Salask, but the shirren has gone out of sight<br>Rohka waits behind Jchk<br>Tekas heals herself again<br>Jchk starts climbing stairs and hears a loud clang the reverberates throughout chamber. Salask is in upper room trying to punch a hole through the wall.<br>Rohka runs up the stairs<br>Salask freezes and throws her weapon away and puts her hands on top of her head and collapses to her knees.<br>Jchk swaps weapons and uses the pulse caster rifle to knock her unconscious.<br>Salask slumps over unconscious and Jchk starts tying her up.<br>There is a ring of slime mold on the floor of the chamber. The room is damp and cool.<br>There is a temporary shop light and a bag of survival gear. Also scattered around the floor there are a few beads on the floor.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Korva at research station<br>Rest of party have captive Shirren sniper and were about to interrogate them.<br>Tekas count - 3212<br><br>Jchk investigates beads on the floor where they found the Shirren sniper.<br>Tapestry remains on the wall threaded with opal beads and the beads had fallen to the floor - about marble sized.<br><br>Captured (female) Shirren sniper interrogation:<br>Named Salask<br>Wakes and psychically starts complaining as she comes back to consciousness.<br>Tekas greets her and asks how she is feeling.<br>She says she has had better days, but it is all part of praise for The Devourer.<br>Tekas asks how many of them came.<br>She says 15 and says Ralkawi was already infected and liability to the caravan so she was left behind.<br>Tekas asks if she was the one who was at the bridge and disrupted the herd to our peril.<br>Salask says there is no risk if your goal is to meet the Devourer and everyone will meet the Devourer.<br>Tekas asks what is going on at the ruins.<br>Salask says Tahomen has plans. He was insistent that they come to the Temple on Castroval after news of the DriftRock.<br>Tekas puts her hand on her head and does Mind Link - shows Salask her vision of how life is connected in a web and how you can effect everyone great and small.<br>Salask smiles and seems serene while Tekas is showing her the images and then whispers "The Devourer will derive such pleasure from such a feast."<br>Tekas asks what we should do with her.<br>Salask says everyone's fate is one we cannot escape.<br>Tekas asks "Who hurt you?"<br>Salask tilts her head. "There is beauty in nothingness, in leaving this world. There are so many ways to leave this existence and all roads lead to the Maw of the Devourer. Everyone will embrace the Devourer."<br>Tekas asks "I just am trying to figure out how creatures who wish to live and exist and yet you embrace death."<br>Salask "Death is the one thing no-one can escape. It is the how you meet your end that recommends the way you will meet the Devourer."<br>"You are not letting people choose their own death."<br>She defends "It is a natural cause, but all roads lead to the Devourer. I am merely an observer watching as people come to realize they cannot escape their death."<br>"How many people have you killed?"<br>Salask shrugs.<br><strong>Tekas casts Mind Thrust. Will save DC15 - and takes 12 damage<br>Salask smiles with satisfaction and party gets a burst of psychic joy before it sudden terminates.</strong><br>Rohka - "Well, that happened."<br>Jchk - "That one doesn't count, Tekas."<br>Tekas - "They all do."<br><br>Party continues trek without further incidents and reaches end of journey at the Singing Mountain Range. Can see in distance at the foot of largest mountain some ruins of a village or something and further up the hill some small buildings carved into the side of the mountain.<br>Jurgan gets call on radio that Korva is incoming with medevac and Korva is going to repel from shuttle to party below.<br>Tekas believes that the cultists were already targeting Solstarni before we arrived and therefore our pursuit of information from the DriftRock might be unrelated to her abduction.<br>Jurgan says he will stick around as the party approaches the temple.<br><br>Ruins are a series of pyramids - overgrown with vines and jungle reclaiming the site.<br>The Forsaken City - from here there are the Stairs to Eternity carved into the mountain where there is a great temple.<br>Jchk starts heading to village trying to find Stairs of Eternity - carved set of stairs climbing the mountain. Several landings with small monuments. Jurgan reports that there are some inscriptions, but most of them have been eroded over time. Progression of wisdom with pillars offering information on achieving enlightenment.<br>Korva complains about stairs<br>Rohka says she hates this jungle<br>Jchk offers VR jungle burning simulation on Sunrise Maiden<br>Start to hearing hissing in comm units. Korva helps Jchk to determine if there is a problem with the comms. All channels of communications have interference and static.<br>Can see southern wall of the temple and a landing up ahead.<br>Rohka stealths ahead to check out landing<br>Rohka see a large <strong>Mountain Ee</strong>l creature eating a dead body and stealths back to group and reports.<br>Party fires at it and gets surprise round.<br>Eel turns and focuses on party - paralyzes Tekas and Rohka<br>Eel bites Jchk<br>Rohka kills eel<br>Party investigates corpse - cultist wearing Devourer regalia and tattoo<br>Wooden dowels all over the place with inscriptions on them - Jurgan investigates. Elvish magical writing and warns us not to touch them. Tekas recognizes it as a runic incantation that if someone touches it will be paralyzed. May have been launched from someplace.<br>Party continues on following the temple wall, but watching for traps.<br>At top of stairs see an arc of pillars - remnants of writing and possibly paint/applique applied to them.<br>Rohka throws a rock towards pillars<br>Party moves forward and discovers old/dehydrated elf standing on platform with a nearby light floating around its head. <strong>Panelliar </strong>is his name.<br>Jchk approaches within telepathic distance stealthily and says "Hello Friend" to elf. The elf turns towards Jchk and greets him.<br>Jchk panics and asks Rohka what to do. Rohka advises that he should say we mean no harm to the temple and simply wish to pass.<br>"The speaker for the Star-Eater does not wish to allow you to enter, and by his will, I must insist. You are not welcome here."<br>Tekas - "Are you bound to the speaker for the Star-Eater?"<br>"The Speaker for the Star-Eater's conviction and magic are strong and I feel compelled to comply to his wishes."<br>Tekas tries to find if it is a sentient creature and it does seem to be a sentient undead with intelligence, but not necessarily free will.<br>Jchk asks "What is the Star-Eater and who is the Speaker?"<br>"Speaker is the leader of the cult of the Devourer"<br>Tekas asks "Is this a temple of Devourer?"<br>Desna - Goddess of Dreams and Travellers<br>Ebra - God of Celestial Bodies<br>"I was left behind to protect the temple from the unworthy."<br>"I am unable to resist the influence of the Devourer"<br>Tekas tries to break the charm on Panelliar and succeeds. Asks for his help.<br>Cultists have invaded the temple and agrees to assist us.<br>Amongst all of the stars in the temple, you can see constellations and there are two which do not fit in the position of the sky. One of them is the constellations as Ebras' holy symbol.<br>These constellations are legit, but not the ones we recognize at this time. The orientations are scientifically precise as seen as when the temple was built. However there is one other constellation that does not make sense. Perfect circle made up of twelve stars which does make sense, but looking at Ebras' symbol the coordinates associated with it make no scientific sense. It is a sequence of numbers that <strong>1-6-12-13-14-15</strong><br>Jchk asks about traps. Panelliar had to reveal locations of defenses when taken over by the Devourer Cult so no more traps would be active.<br>Ukulum Gallery - morning rituals in this place<br>When made contact with Ebra, they changed to incorporate Ebra<br>Shots are fired at the party, but they miss at first.<br>Jchk gets hit with a punch from a very loud repeater.<br>Party engages cultists with Panelliar's help<br>Panelliar kills first cultist<br>Tekas kills leader<br>One cultist escapes and runs to use Solstarni as a hostage<br>Tekas tries to offer herself as hostage, Cultist refuses. Tekas tries healing them as an act of faith and to persuade Cultist.<br>Cultist gives up and Tekas tries to get him to change his life choices.<br>Cultist is named <strong>Hallowel </strong> - says other cultists were sending information to the cult about what they found at Temple of the Twelve.<br>Jchk asks Solstarni what the cultists found.<br>Library/Shrine to Desna while other structures around it dedicated to Ebra. Filled with physical books and scrolls. Solstarni points to books that cultists were interested in.<br>Elves were obsessed with transcending and leaving planet in search of further answers.<br>Above library there is one device that remains intact, a crystal in the center of the device and is pulsing with a glow as if it will burst. Jchk and Korva ask Panelliar about the crystal. This collection crystal has reached its capacity after many years of collecting data. Korva asks Panelliar if he requires it anymore and he says no so she takes it and puts it in her cheek pouch.<strong> (Ability crystal (mk 1)</strong><br><br>Jchk spots by the entrance of the temple by the pillars, three figures that are making their way from the west to the east. Two are carrying a large heavy piece of equipment, the other is following.<br><br>Jchk, Korva and Tekas take sniper shots at them and combat begins.<br>Tekas manages to trigger a trap.<br>Cultists are defeated.<br>Tekas casts Grave Words, but gets information about bugs and nothing useful.<br><br>Loot the bodies!<br>Survival Knife<br>Dis-integrator Pistol<br><br>Panelliar thanks us, but worries the Devourers may have gathered information about the Gate. As the soul protector of this place, I recognize us as defenders of the temple and grant us access. Hack into the computer and get the following information.<br>Signal with large amount of data was transmitted three hours ago. No logs of transmission, look for deleted files and recover data. Tahomen suggested 12 star configuration is believed to be a gate to a demi plane that hides an unspeakably powerful superweapon. Provides scans of some of the pages with highlights. Believes the Drift Rock is a part of the weapon that was ripped apart from configuration and sent off into the Drift. Strongly suggests the cult spends all resources to find the gate first. Withdraw coordinates of the target area that this signal was sent to.<br><br>Korva discovers aidura gate<br>Rohka documents ceiling<br><br>Solstarni doesn't want to leave the temple grounds. Says she will stay to study.<br><br>Ask about the obelisk - marking the path for pilgrims, they are signposts<br><br>Panny opens gate to research station<br><br>Research Station -&nbsp; Korva gets a warm reception (not)<br>Head office - al-Nuaf -- welcomes party back and asks about Solstarni, we inform him of the events and that Solstarni is staying to study the temple. Let's us inform the head of the university.<br><br>Return to Qabarat - make it through customs with Rohka diplomacy check<br><br>University - Mahali and Whaloss - concerned about the damage to the historical sites, but is happy to have an opportunity to do research - gives party 4500 credits<br><br><br>Tekas asks if Hallowell has any family - answers parents and 5 friends<br><br>Return to the ship - <br>Sunny mentions 2 messages from Chiskisk, each one more frantic than the last.<br>Chiskisk has a team on deck to come find us.<br><br>Korva gives ability crystal to Jchk in exchange for armor polish, then gives armor polish as a gift of friendship to Hallowell<br><br>Showers and food for all<br>Jchk - absorbs ability crystal to increase intelligence to 19<br><br>Hallowell - says this is fantastic and much better than the psychos ate<br><br>Korva asks what they should do next.<br>Tekas suggest putting coordinates into the map system<br>Jchk wants to unload gear and purchase UPB<br><br>Next morning - message from Chiskisk<br>He is happy to hear that everything went well and is excited to our debrief about the situation and our plans for the future. Hubbub over DriftRock calmed down now. Only fringes of society seem concerned that it is more than an artifact that just found its way in their orbit. Starfinders still investigating. Send over reports asap. If need any kind of expenses for next phase, submit form 17-A-17.<br><br>Coordinates of communication into a blank part of space in the Diaspora. Nearby Drift Beacon. No none listed habitations in the area. Between Adari and Eox planets.<br><br>Party asks Hallowell if he wants to go home. His hope was to become a Centurion in Skyfire Legion with his friend <strong>Xarycaritos </strong>who died in a crash. They were going to bond to become Centurions, but he no longer felt he could bond with anyone else.<br>&nbsp;<br>Hallowell says he is trained as a pilot and and gunner.          <description><![CDATA[<div>***Korva feeling insecure about piloting now that Hallowel is on the team. Also worries about running into any of the Vatta Conglomerate while in Diaspora***<br><br>Arrive at signal destination - don't see anything other than empty space with a bit of space debris.<br><br>Tekas scans area and finds unknown movement in the distance. Discover it is a ship and after hailing over comms, we are hailed by an energetic woman (<strong>Alera Akwana</strong>) on the other ship who asks what we are doing in the area.&nbsp;<br>Nebular Outfitter Starhopper - based on the color schemes and markings it is a part of the Free Captains crew - organized and do piracy, but they have their own code they live by.<br>Rohka ask if pirates saw Devourer Cultists and they answer in the positive. They have their own base called the StarEater Spine - rock K9204. Pirates say they saw a few "Bone Ships".<br><br>Tekas concerned that there are Eoxian ships in the area since this is the second time we have encountered an Eoxian ship.<br><br>There is a known faction of Eoxians (The Corpse Fleet) who were kicked off Eox so maybe the ships are a part of this faction.<br><br>Korva sends encrypted letter to Chiskisk including the current location of the Cult of the Devourer in a way that would be difficult for anyone intercepting to get the information easily.<br><br>K9204 - planetoid - less than a mile in diameter - made up of treacherous rock and terrain, was mined for ore at some point but does not appear to have been drained dry. Surface is covered by jagged cliffs, only one open area for landing. Asteroid seems dense enough for thin atmosphere and low gravity.<br>Ashy/dust covers ground, cliffs have been mined away.<br>Ground around us there are deep grooves and scorch marks of ships landing here repeatedly.<br><br>Jchk heads to southern valley and Tekas keeps north to keep an eye out with her sniper.<br>Halliwell takes off and hides ship in comm range.<br><br>Party moves west with Jchk in the southern valley and Rohka/Korva in northern plateau.<br>Jchk studies shards on ground - 10 bulk of extremely sharp shards of cold iron.&nbsp;<br>Jchk notices a glint from the ground around the shards, seems to give off a different glimmer than the surrounding material.<br>Jchk brushes up against a piece of cold iron and gets damaged, but finds a stone amulet among the debris. Recognizes it as a symbol of the Cult of Devourer.<br><br>Rohka's space suit is damaged and she is leaking oxygen from a bloody hole in her suit. A sniper on the other ridge from the north.<br><br>Tekas fires, but misses. Sniper spots Tekas.<br>Korva patches up Rohka's suit so she is no longer losing oxygen.<br>Tekas hits<br>Rohka runs for cover<br>Jchk runs towards party<br>Rohka/Korva crawl up the slope to top and drop prone to start shooting at Yex.<br>Skreeling (juvenile Skreshire) sneaks up on Jchk and bites his leg<br>Rohka kills Skreeling, Jchk kills Yex<br><br>Rohka loots the Yex - two batteries, exotic looking sniper rifle, thin attractive looking sword, spacesuit is estex suit Mk II, four frag grenades<br>Rohka finds a small bundle in a crevice wrapped in cloth, a tent with a drained battery, six meals in a can and a cred stick of 2800 credits and a small leather bound journal<br>Journal in Sarcessian - creature named Yex, couple months worth of notes, disagreements with others of his kind, spending a month to cool down. Entries start getting chaotic with references a flesh-beast and eventually calls it Master. Without warning turns into gibberish. Final entry back in native Sarcessian.<br>"Yex keep scratchies away so Master finally make Yex into skree YES"<br><br>Find an old corpse dressed in black and red rags with a ring on one of the bony finger. Ring of Sustenance<br><br>Party tries to find cover in a cave, but Korva hears a piercing screech in her mind.<br>From the acid pool tentacles emerge and miss Jchk.<br><br>Party finds trap door<br>See pile of bodies<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Corpse pile are haphazardly piled, unceremoniously. Looks like they may have been thrown there.<br>These bodies were killed in a methodical manner, they were cut in roughly the same manner and brutally exploded from the inside. Like they were incubators.<br>Bodies were originally cultists.<br>Jchk suggests the pile was created by Yex to protect area for "Master", being the incubators for more skreelings?<br>Tekas finds some fleshy egg sacs in some of the corpses. Not sure what kind of egg sac.<br><br>Korva starts freaking out that the yet another incubating species is using humanoids for procreation.<br><br>From the acid pool a large creature emerges, a Skreeshire.<br>Rohka and Korva hit<br>Jchk misses<br>Tekas hits and creature is wounded<br>Korva stays in place and shoots three missiles.<br>Skreeshire hits and grabs Korva and chomps on her now that he has her in tentacle range<br>Korva struggles, but is unable to free herself<br>Skreeshire tosses Korva towards the party and she lands gently amongst them thanks to the low gravity<br>Jchk has to make a will saving throw and succeeds to ignore the Skree's screeching sound in his mind<br>Jchk kills the Skreeshire<br><br>Jchk discovers that Skreeshire cold iron immunity is a function of the skin. It does have limited psychic abilities via a large gland in the brain. Jchk and Tekas severe the nerves and have a psychic gland from a Skreeshire. Jchk can hear the psychic resonance coming off it.<br><br>Party investigates trap door, ladder leads to a dimly lit room with a metal grate on the floor. Rusty and dark metal hallway with sliding door in front of us.<br>The door looks functional and judging by the flakes of rust it has been operated somewhat recently. There is a small emitter at the top of the frame and Jchk believes it is some kind of a non-standard sensor. Jchk holds up the Devourer amulet he found in front of the sensor.<br>As Jchk waves in front of the sensor, the vents in the ceiling open and a very thick cloud of yellow spores start to pour out. They are incredibly fine that they manage to bypass respirators. Rohka (1hr) and Jchk(3hr) feel really woozy. Spores start to spread in respiratory system and they feel it is difficult to concentrate and communicate.<br>-4 INT, CHA, WIS skill checks and saving throws<br>Korva opens the doors and see a computer console, with Jchk's help Korva easily hacks the computer console. Terminal is dedicated to maintenance of this facility. Option to restore lights and two control modules listed. One labelled as entrance deterrant and chamber of devouring.<br>Chamber of Devouring - not allowed access<br>Entrance deterrant - not allowed access<br>A large amount of power is being rerouted to another part of the facility labelled as "Data Core".<br><br>Body parts found was an Eoxian cut horizontally and vertically making the party figure there was some sort of defense system that laser cuts intruders. Found a patch that identifies the body parts as a member of the Corpse Fleet.<br><br>Go back to the console and find another sensor on the first pillar and that is wired into a mechanism that would activate if anyone moved past that first pillar. Korva disables the trap. Notice that the indicator for the Chamber of Devouring went offline once Korva disabled the trap.<br><br>Party explores north.<br>Graffiti on walls in Abyssal - one repeated phrase "Entropy of Existence is Known"<br>Korva discovers two security robots who approach her with tasers<br>Party defeats the two security robots<br><br>Jchk finds a hidden panel in the northeast wall - inside is a golem forged plating three suit of armor with jump jets<br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>
