<title>Is there a chance that the directors were taking the piss out of the extremes? Did this help you become more aware of such issues? Can you now have a deeper conversation about such pressing topics.</title>

<title>Having not watched Friends for such a long time it was a huge surprise to watch it through a different lense. It shattered my memory of what this show was about and that even though 14 years later, life had not moved on and neither had it&#39;s message or popularity. For being a representative of a western view it was so representing an obsolete vision.</title>

<title>In some ways I don&#39;t want to revisit Friends because it is a show I loved. Seeing that clip makes me think that I should leave those memories where they were. I always thought that the show was so great and would stand the test of time. It hasn&#39;t.</title>

<title>As this is a show I loved, I&#39;m trying to think &#39;is something missing from the thinking here?&#39;. Why did I not see this when I watched the show? My positive memories of this show are now surprising me.</title>

<title>I wonder what we would notice if we rewatch Friends with the question of how the show opened up dialogue for other issues like single parenting or infertility. </title>
