1. What I learned from this experiment is that it takes lots of time to actually perform the experiment than plan. I also learned that tinfoil is better than food wrap.
2. The biggest challenges during this project was to get precise data due to what I was recording
3. I felt nervous and wanted to hurry up and finish the process because I didn't plan what to say.
4. The judges suggested that I should be more specific in my materials, such as brand. They also suggested that I should write the discussion in a more simple manner.

1. I've learned a lot about fear and vulnerability (my topic) that I didn't know before. I think not only did I prove my hypothesis with my results, but I proved it to myself, so I really feel my conclusion is true in my life.
2. I think the biggest challenge I had throughout the entire process was the heart rate monitors in the testing. Some of them had a bit of a "freak out," and were quite hard to deal with.
3. I felt good about my project after speaking with the judges, many of them had positive comments, and all suggestions were quite constructive.
4. I think, to improve my project, I would use a different brand/type of heart rate monitors, and use a much larger sample size, maybe 30, or even 60 people over a larger range of ages. I would also endeavour to test test subjects in a separate room, where outside stimuli could be more controlled, and I would ask them to sit quietly for about 5 minutes before the test to bring their heart rate down to their resting heart rate.

1. What have you learned from this experiment?
Answer: I learnt that different chemicals can produce different colored fire. I also learned that I can actually make my experiment work.
2. List your biggest barrier(s) or challenge(s) during this experiment
Answer: To me, the hardest part of this experiment was probably writing the background research paper.
3. How did you feel after talking to the judges about your experiment?]
Answer: I just improvised when I talked to my first judge. After judging, I felt very relieved that Science Fair was almost over
4. What did the judges suggest you do in the future? Do you agree with the judges' suggestion? If not, explain what you think you should do in the future to improve your project.
Answer: One of the judges suggested that i become a chemist when I grow up. I think this is a very appropriate suggestion. I do love chemistry and I find it extremely entertaining to see experiments work out. If I could do this experiment again, I would like to use the solid forms of the chemicals instead of the liquid forms.

Overall:

1. I have learned from my experience that upbeat and instrumental music can help enhance the memory of an individual and that we can do all the science fair stuff in only two months, however they were stressful months.

2. It was stressful especially since the time for everything was so squished together we kind of had to rush through everything making our work not the best we can do. (I believe we can do better) The short amount of time to do our work was a challenge.

Judging process:

3. I felt relieved and happy after I talked to a judge or to all the judges.

4. The judge suggested that when I tested the subjects instead of only testing one music on a group I should have done every kind of music that I was using for every group. Yes, I do agree it would make my results more accurate, however I only had around two days to test during class period so how would I be able to do that? (every test takes ten minutes)

I feel like I didn’t learn a lot of useful information from these experiments mainly what I did wrong and what I could do better. I also learned how to structure papers and format my info. A few barriers I faced where test subjects I didn’t get a lot of them and they couldn’t fit into my quite loose schedule. After talking with the judges I felt good they said it made sense and was a useful project however, they said I didn’t have great execution and I needed more subjects. I agree, I would have liked to have many more subjects and a little more control. In the future if I did this project again I would use numbers rather than words I would also have more test subjects. If I did these things I would have a much better result.

1. I learned that if you text more, your finger dexterity will improve because even though most people use their thumbs for texting, thumbs are still necessary for finger dexterity such as picking stuff up, holding things, and pushing objects.
2. I think the hardest part during this process was gathering test subjects to meet the requirements for this experiment.
3. I felt nervous on my first judge but as the judges kept going, i felt more and more comfortable with talking.
4. The judge suggested me to record the text messages the subjects sent and put it in the graph so that it would explain my experiment better. He also suggested me to put more visual and not many words because people don't really read the long wordy pages. I agree with the judge because i think the poster was also too wordy.

Overall:

1. From this experience I learned that microwave ovens heat up food by sending out microwave radiation, I also learned that the radiation actually comes from the bottom of the oven, and there are plenty of different hot spots at the bottom. Another thing that I learned about is how fast food can actually be heated, and how shrimps can be cooked through the microwave oven.

2. -Lack of knowledge for the reactions between molecules and radiation

-Lack of preparation for mistakes/things gone wrong

Judging process:

3. I felt very nervous while talking to some judges, but I liked the judging process. When a few of them tried to challenge me to some questions that I never thought about, I felt like I can be honest with them about if I know the answers or not. Also I sort of messed up the order I planned for presenting the poster, but overall it wasn't that bad since the judges gave positive and helpful comments from time to time.

4. The judges suggested that, if I am doing my experiment again, I could take measure of the microwave oven temperature too, and one of the judges also suggested me to make a heat map for the bottom inside the microwave oven so that I can figure out the hot spots for the oven. I agree with these suggestions because they sound very useful to me and think they can really help me improve my experiment next time. The suggestions can lead to a more accurate result.

Overall: 1. I learned from this experience that one should may extreme attention to air bubbles in barometers using liquid. I also learned that weather can be predicted fairly easily, only using a few household items. 2. The biggest challenges during this experiment were: the experiment failed (because of an air bubble in the barometer, which rendered the barometer dysfunctional). Judging process: I enjoyed the judging process, especially the chance to interact with Mr. Carpenter. I must say the Chinese Professor intimidated me to a small degree, though. 3. I felt very relieved after the judges were finished judging the posters. I felt satisfied that I had presented decently. 4. One judge suggested that I better calibrate my barometer (correlate my readings to standard/accepted measurements) to be more precise. I strongly agreed with this judge's suggestion. If I were to do this experiment again, however, I would test the fishing gauge's original purpose of determining when it is a good time to fish (relative to air pressure).

Overall:
1. I learned that darker green leafy vegetables actually contains more vitamin C than the lighter green ones. Especially Spinach which contain the highest amount of vitamin C in all four vegetables, and cabbage turned out to have more vitamin C than broccoli which surprised both myself and some of the judges.
2. The biggest challenge for me was that I didn't found the most accurate way to test the vitamin C. I should've prepare more and repeat my experiment a few more times so I can get a more accurate result than what I have now.

Judging Process:
3. I was very nervous at first because I didn't know what it would be like. So on my first judge, I messed up my presentation a little because I was nervous and I didn't talk about this information I supposed to talk about. After the first judge giving me some suggestions, I relaxed a little and improved my presentation for the rest four judges. Overall, it was not that bad since I didn't mess up all five judges like I did for the first one.
4 The judges suggested me that if I would repeat this experiment again, it will be good if I can have a green color chart which I can use to match the color of the vegetables to get a more accurate result. They also suggested me to consider the problems about how some vegetables have two different kinds of green (like broccoli). I think all the suggestions that was given my the judges are helpful, and I would like to repeat my experiment again after hearing their opinions if I have a chance.
