My kids had SO much FUN and it was super engaging! They didn't have to listen to me lecture for 20 minutes.

If they earn 10 stars (one for each good library class) then they get a free choice day in the library at their next class. I get out games, STEM activities, toys, and open up the computers. They LOVE it! I used to have a sticker chart but this year I made it digital on the Smartboard. Students now only see E books, 
both E Fiction ad E Nonfiction. This has made the teaching and searching so much easier for my primary students. For my observation lesson we did a  Shelfie OWL search and the students were very successful.
