ELA mainly focuses on literature structure and poetry. Math is a wide variety of things, but algebraic expressions and equations are focused on. SS is all about ancient civilizations. (SS was my favorite this year) Science focuses on energy and all the types of waves, as well as the solar system and earth systems. Expect to set standards for yourself in math and reading. There are also new subjects like band and chorus. (Band is better) Memories that stick out to me are getting accepted into percussion and parading down the hall with our band teacher.
        Both Mrs. Caskaddon (Cask•a•dun) and Mrs Chapman are very nice teachers. They are nice but they have high standards that they expect us to meet. Expect to be prepared for class, bringing your binder and pencil, (For everything and everyone you love, bring your pencil) among other materials. Be respectful and don’t talk when your not supposed to. If you wanted to know their pet-peeves, um…   bring a pencil.
         The main thing to remember is the teachers don’t want to be disrespected. Do what they tell you and don’t give them any reasons to have a negative view of your behavior. They will treat you as well as you treat them.

We don’t really read books together in our class.  P.E is really fun if you make it fun and the zoo is to. 

 Do not and I mean do not forget or don’t do your homework they hate it because we all know you have time to do it.  Do not talk over her or when there not looking because they will  find out they will either hear you or find out.  Also she will be nice if you will be nice.  TAKE NOTES// sometimes she will do random out of nowhere pop quizzes bt there an easy 100% so don’t worry about it  that much.  

Some advice ok so here's the thing if you don’t want someone to know or only want one person know don’t tell because trust me they will tell someone so just don’t tell anyone anything because trust once you do you learn your lesson I know I did.

If you have Mrs. Caskaddon as your homeroom teacher it is a good idea to follow the rules because she normally is nice if you don’t break the rules. Her rules are be prepared (Bring folder, chromebook, planner, and book), don’t talk while she is talking, don’t be late for class, and a few more things. Most of her pet peeves go off of her rules. It is important to her that you work hard.

During the school year you should follow the teachers rules (be prepared (Bring folder, chromebook, planner, and book), don’t talk while she/he is talking, don’t be late for class, and a few more things), don’t fake being sick, be on time to school all of the time unless it is important, and meet your daily/weekly reading goal every night.(If you do ALL of these things it will greatly help/affect you and your school year in the long run).
