Although there has been mixed reaction to this act (many criticize his efforts and many applause them) it has proven to be effect because he is accomplishing his goal--brining awareness to the idea that not all (i.e. minorities) are equal in the United States. He may be getting negative reactions by many in the stands, but people are talking about what he is doing, which is what he wants.
