At the age of 3 he corrected his father’s very complicated math problem. Also, the fields in mathematics that he specialized in were statistics, number theory, astronomy, optics, algebra, differential geometry, analysis, etc. Carl Gauss impacted the mathematics field, because the fields that he studied in weren’t fields back then, so he founded those subjects.

Pythagorean Theorem (1900 BC) Pythagorean Theorem was a theory concluded by Pythagoras of Samos. He studied and his beliefs led him to the math section today that we know as the Pythagorean Theorem. Pythagorean Theorem was a theory that stated the square of the length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle is equal to the sum of the squares of the other side lengths. Pythagorean Theorem has impacted the construction field, because it helps to get a precise cut and measurements.

He got the answer that species evolved through natural selection hat means that plants and animals are able to survive in an environment that’s best suited for their ability to live and reproduce. He also found that the offspring would get the same characteristics and qualities as the parents. Charles Darwin impacted the scientific world with his discovery of the evolution of species, because he showed how species evolved in the world. Also, he showed that the new characteristics of the parents would be carried down to the offspring.

Alexander Fleming (1928)- Alexander Fleming was known for discovering the medicine penicillin. He discovered it from a contaminated Petri dish. When he returned from a vacation he was examining and getting rid of numerous dishes that had been left unattended while he was gone. In one of those dishes he saw that some mold was growing and the sample of staph infection in that dish had been killed by the mold. He wrote a paper on it, but it wasn’t published until a few years later. Alexander Fleming impacted the world with his paper on the Petri dish, without it, it probably would have been a long time before they found a cure for staph.

Blissymbol Printer (1984)- This device was created by Rachael Zimmerman at the young age of 12. This device translates Blissymbols into written language using a software program. The written words appear on a computer screen, and as the individual taps on the symbol the words representing the symbol would appear on the screen. Also, she came up with the idea of developing the touchpad with software that would translate and then output the language onto a computer screen. This has impacted the world, because people who can’t speak can now communicate with anyone.
