I slightly agree with older people tend to get over sickness slower, but its really based on the health of the person. Its also better for elder people to be around younger people, kids specifically. It helps keep the elderly on their feet and full of life. From experience i love being around older people. I always have a good time being around the elderly. Most elderly resident homes are peaceful and friendly. I slightly agree with old people being able to adjust to new situations. Some are able to while others may have a harder time. I was unsure about older people getting occupational diseases, having a high rate of absenteeism, and them having too much power in business and politics. I truly believe with old age comes great wisdom. Most people find it hard to be around old people because they are boring or they hate getting heir head talked off. Some old people are good at remembering names, it really depends on their mental health

Through work and experience I've grown to love older people, Between doing home care and working at nursing homes I've experienced many different type of elderly people. I enjoy listening to older people and there stories, and the advice they give. Most of the time they really just want an ear to listen to what they have to say. A lot of the information on the Ageism Worksheet really could vary among different individuals. It really depends on their health and mental health on how they react to certain actions.
