Each week, you will contribute to your social media account about different aspects of history.  You will select key events and/or people from history and educate your audience about the lasting impact these have had on our world.

As part of your preparation, you will engage in research by reading and analyzing a variety of credible primary and secondary sources on your topic.   

Use the structure of informative/explanatory writing to organize the information, details, quotations, and other examples from your sources in a way that effectively develops the topic and ensures your social media posts are informative, accurate, and memorable.

Through your posts, demonstrate an understanding of how our world has changed over time and how these changes affect our lives today.

Before you “go live” and submit your posts for publication, be sure to reread your work and make edits and revisions as necessary.
