We think the black dot signifies the bad times we had. Looking at the graph, seeing it's at the bottom in a pattern does not seem good. Chattel slavery is an example of a bad time we had. 

2. We believe the white dot signifies a little happiness/space, we had good times and we fought to get to where we are today. We are still fighting. White dots remind me of a "break" we had. The reconstruction era is what we called it and we were disrupting racial caste.

3. We believe this is the dropping point. This is where something is going or is going to go wrong. A quest for new racial hierarchy was happening at this time. 

4. We believe that this is the rising point to a better time. Something is going on that will help us in the outcome. 2.It is reperesenting disrupting racial caste. They all represent the rebuilding of african americans in america. I'm assuming everyone was trying to dispute slavery and free all the slaves.
3)This represents quest for new racial hierarchy. The people are trying to give african americans the rights they deserved by ending slavery but even though slavery was beginning to end everyone struggled for income and shelter and rights.

The main similarities between the patterns of the black dots are that they all rest at the bottom of the constant downfall. All downfalls occur for different reasons yet the cause on this chart always creates the same outcome...Racial Caste.
2) Each white dot signifies the disruption of the racial castes. Main similarities for these dots are that they all have a place at the top of the chart. The disruption of racial caste seems to be the main-and most effective-reason for racial castes.
3) Each dot with concentric circles signify the quest for new racial hierarchy. The placement of the circles always leave it between the dots for disruption of racial caste and the dots for actual racial caste. The dots lay between the era's reconstruction period and the eras lowest point of black codes.
4) Each striped dot signifies resistance to racial hierarchy. The resistance to racial hierarchy is always after racial caste and right before the racial castes disruption. It's so thet the resistance is always cut of (disrupted) but then the search for a new way to obtain power (a new racial caste) occurs. This leaves racial caste at the bottom as a sort of starting point for the next race or communities downfall.

With the resistance, something good occurs for the slave community (like emancipation). During the disruption and reconstruction era, the system causes problems for those of color that affects them badly (racial bribe of white supremacy). As the quest for a new racial hierarchy commences, new laws and white resistance to civil right movements start the declination while reinforcing racial caste. Racial caste is finally at rock bottom .
