We made sure to take good care of the hamster so we were always keeping track of where it was in its cage and what it was doing. One day, when we went to go check on it me and my sister saw that the hamster was missing so we searched all over the cage and couldn't find it. so we looked all over the house. My dad then told me and my sister that our dog kept looking under the fridge so we started searching near the fridge with some flashlights. My sister then said that she had found it and it was in a corner behind the fridge. After that my dad moved the fridge and we finally got our hamster back.
 
How does this relate to the theme?

One day mom told me that she wanted to get a cat so that it could hunt and kill some of the scorpions. So the next day Me and my sister went to find a cat and then we found this cute little kitten. My mom didn't want to keep the kitten but we told her that it would grow up and help get rid of the scorpions and it happened our cat grew up and she would constantly hunt for scorpions  

How does this relate to the theme?

This relates to the theme because our cat would help us control the scorpion issue by hunting them
