In my opinion, they would only approach people with their own benefit in mind. Only a small group of kind hearted people that make up the minority would help people without any ulterior motives, but even then things could change, We cannot escape from human nature of greed because that is what makes us human.Same for other good values that make up our human nature.
Eg. I think people need to learn to empathise with those in need, understand their feelings so that they can finally understand the hardship that they might have gone or are going through.
