         <description><![CDATA[<p>Here are some tips for using objects of reference:  </p><ul><li><p>Start with about three objects of reference for activities that happen often. </p></li><li><p>Think about what is most important and motivating for the individual. </p></li><li><p>Find an OoR that matches what the experience is for the child </p></li><li><p>Use the objects consistently each time you do the activity. </p></li><li><p>Put the object away when the activity starts. </p></li><li><p>Have a consistent place to keep all the objects. </p></li><li><p>Once the person understands the connection between the objects and activities, you can use the objects to offer choices. </p></li></ul>]]></description>
