The complexity of his pieces reminds me of my inner childhood in the way I draw and doodle drawings on paper. With such limited resources, Basquiat painted on a different canvas such as wood which made me realize that one's lack of resources can never stop one's passion from doing the things that he or she is interested in. It made me realize that we humans are being given different types of cards and different types of canvases and life is a journey.
