 I clap my hands fast three times, they will stop and look at me.
 I shake a shaker at times while saying "shhh" many times. 
I put my fingers on my lips and ask them to do same.
I take up my hands and stand still until they are quiet.
I let my voice gets quieter as a signal for them to stop talking. Or I just stop talking until they are quiet.
I sit on my chair and just watching them without a word.

When I implemented a curriculum that I made, I sang a song which they like at first time. They stopped what they were doing and looked at me. Second, I pretend to be surprised and say "Look at this"

Diaper changes were really interesting in the beginning, so what I do to control the squirmy babies is singing songs with different tones. I also include them in what is happening during diaper changes, we talk about body parts and guessing games of what surprise I would be getting that day.
