If you would normally go to bed at 9PM and it was sunny, you would just change your schedule. Then, even the people who live on a different continent's schedule would line up, and we get to go to bed at night, or whatever time you go to bed. If the government, or whoever might change the time zones already had enough power to do it, I don't think it would be that hard for us to change a schedule, I mean, everytime you go to your friend's house, you put that on your calendar or schedule. Most people set alarms to wake up, so just type a different time into the alarm. You might wake up at a different time, but it is still the equivalent of your old time (zone).
