Socioeconomic issues among different races often result in education gaps. In the source above, it mentions minority races such as African American students, Hispanic students, and Native American students were all less likely to pursue higher education. This was a direct result of a lower average income in their communities, since they weren't able to have the same educational opportunities as students of other races. This is an social injustice as a result of the gaps in education that it creates among students, resulting in diminishing feelings of self worth, and the loss of opportunities that should be equally available.

Some communities in the Southern states of the U.S. often receive an unequal funding opportunity in schools provided by the education system.
Due to lower budgets for education, students that are affected are not provided the appropriate utilities to fit their needs. For instance, not being able to hire counselors to help kids.
