When you walk in, you will see age groups ranging in three year bands. Students will begin putting their stuff away when they first come in, then they will help set up their class; by washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning. Students will be taught both individually and small groups. Lessons that are important in Montessori are practical life lessons like cutting food, being courteous, self care and more. Montessori also gives "freedom within limits." Students will be able to choose what they want to work on as long as they have had a lesson on it, do it safely and are focused.
