My mother’s success has highly motivated my career decision, and all along, I have wanted to emulate her. My decision to join Pacific Oaks College was driven by my mother, who happened to have attended Pacific college. I would say that she introduced me to the college, where she took a few courses that have helped her build her career knowledge. Moreover, this term will be a little tricky since I am taking two sessions which comprise of four classes.

Being brought up in a Christian family, I would say that I spend most of my time in the church and at the gym. There is, however, a lot of overlap between the two since I enjoy working out. I feel that the two are an integral part of my rule of life since they help me build my spiritual self and body. As a family, we have a role to play in the church, where we are committed to some voluntary church work. I would also say that I am not so much involved with other community work. However, being an infant teacher, I feel more of a community worker since the task requires more than what one is employed for. Besides all that, I believe fun, hobbies, and socialization play a critical role in personal and professional development. I have a French bulldog [Cujo] and various church friends. They help me to have fun and socialize. I am a basketball fan, love cars, and my boyfriend is also helpful as far as living a fulfilling life is concerned. With good mental health, I believe that I am well prepared to study here and do all that is required for me to pass without a lot of disruption.
