Women of Ancient Rome had many limited roles in their public life. We think it's important because the Romans believed men were better at politics and making decisions and owning things. This is unique and interesting because women and men now are qualified as equals. Back then, women of Rome were not allowed to speak in or vote in political assemblies. Women of Rome were allowed to get married at the age of 12-15 listed on the laws of Ancient Rome.

  Aneeta Al-Daka
  Mirna Antoine

  Why is Roman's life important?

Family was an important part of Ancient Roman culture and society. Much of Roman law was written around protecting the basic structure of the family. The family you belonged to had a lot to do with your place in Roman society and whether you were considered a patrician or a plebeian.

What makes Roman family life interesting?

The "Familia" in Rome included more than just the basic family of father, mother, and children. It also included all the people who were part of the household such as slaves, servants, clients, and freemen. As a result, some families in Rome grew quite large.

For Romans, Family was the most important thing. The whole family would all live together in one house or apartment. The family included all unmarried sons and daughters, as well as married sons and their wives. Married daughters went to live with their husband's family. The Roman Empire was unique because it espoused the principle of moderation in politics. ... Its distinctively republican civic form became propagated by the Roman Empire as it spread across Europe. It then became transmuted by its contact with Christianity, which gave birth to a mediating political form unlike any other.

What did Roman families do for fun?

They even had their own versions of ball sports like soccer, field hockey, and handball. Riding horses, hunting and fishing were popular activities in the country, and many people enjoyed board games like dice, checkers, and even tic-tac-toe!

The Languages of Ancient Rome are important because Latin was used throughout the Roman Empire. But it shared space with a host of other languages and dialects, including Greek, Oscan, and Etruscan, which give us a unique perspective on the ancient world. Additionally, it is unique because it uses numbers and there are no spaces in between the letters. And the format of the letters and different from the English alphabet. In fact, they use symbols in their writing. There were two types Latin classical and vulgar. Vulgar was spoken more by the common Romans. Classical Latin was used by the catholic Romans. Latens has almost the same inflection structure as ancient Greek. But it uses a different alphabet, though. Also Latin used to be written on plates of wax, these had little space, so the words were run together.
