We are concerned that we are not hearing enough about the Standards grounding this work. While we know this is not intended, some educators could easily just focus on projects without consideration of the Standards. Standards should form as the bare minimum - as the foundation.

Data should also inform this work.  The work in our district needs to align all of these - data, Standards, student, teacher, and leader learning. 

We need help explaining this shift to parents - how it helps get kids college and career ready - where this honors achievement and making leanring engaging for students.  How do you know you are producing tasks that also produce student growth? Will this be monitored or measured so we can learn from each other.

We want to communicate this shift as not a new thing, but as the entire system - DAC, SAC, BOE, and work in schools.

How can principals pair each of their own entry point in their reslective schools with this?  Do we have the permission to make this unique to each school.

We think the PBL wheel could be helpful for us - we are thinking there should be elements of this within each task.  

We will continue to tie this work to shifting the cognitive load, discussion protocols, etc.
