Write a letter to your country's space agency in which you apply for the international mission that will leave for Mars in a year. Why are you applying for this mission? Why is such a mission important, for you as a human being and for humanity? How will you contribute to it?

Personal Diary
You are halfway on your three-month long journey to Mars with an international crew. Life in close quarters is starting to take a toll on everyone, tempers are flaring, communication is breaking down. The commander of the mission has called a meeting to discuss the situation and is asking for suggestions and ideas.

In a diary entry, explain how you prepared for the meeting. what happened during the meeting, how you contributed to it, and how you felt about your fellow astronauts’ suggestions and ideas.

You’ve made it! Your crew has arrived safely on Mars and you’re one month into your one-year mission on the surface of the Red Planet. 

Write a blog entry for your space agency’s website and talk about how the crew is cooperating on a daily basis to deal with the various challenges they’re facing on Mars. Describe one specific challenge. How did the crew cooperate to solve the challenge? What was your contribution and what did you learn from the experience?
