'If a woman is disgraced by her husband, she can also go to court. If her acusations are adequatley proven, she can leave her husband and take her dowry ( the property or sum of money a wife brings to her husband in marriage) with her.

I don't think some of the laws wouldn't qualify because some include chopping one of the victim would have a lmb cut off or choped off. So I don't think some of them would qualify.

The law that tey had back then and the we hav now is A husband cannot divore his wife if she is in a sickly condition or if she needed support. Also if a women is disgraced by her husband than she can go to the court and write a report on him.

I dont think that hammrabi laws will be allowed today because they are too violent and they include cutting off body parts and that is not allowed
