i feel bad for people who have autism as people think they are different even though they are just normal people who just can't really control themselves in some situations but people think of them as stupid and need help

i feel bad for people who has autism and people think that they are different from us just because they act differently and its something u cant stop . they cant control themselves from behaving that way but people can control themselves by not staring or judging them .
i feel bad for their parents because they must be very sad that their child is autistic but doesnt have a choice as its not something u can heal or depend on medication . the parents must be very tired from taking care of them but because its their child , they cant bear to ignore / not care about them . people in the public shldnt judge them because the parents wld feel very bad

I feel bad for those parents who have children with autism. I felt that public shld be more exposed to understanding autism more. They would often judge this kids as "crazy" while they aren't.
Back in my primary school days, i used to take care of my friend who is autistic. My classmates would often avoid her as they find her disgusting and weird. Now she's in pathlight. I'm thankful that she still remember me.

i feel sad for the parent as there often view as bad parent just because their child which have autism spectrum be view as different from other growing child. i really respect those parent which has a autistic child ,they have to endure the pain and struggle with their child

I feel bad for people with autism as people oftenlaugh at them and make fun of them thinking it’s funny but when people with autism see others laughing at them they probably feel sad and think that why people are laughing at them when they gets meltdown many are just laughing cuz they think that he is different because he or she have autism but actually they are just the same as us infact they might be much smarter than us they just cannot control themself

I feel that people should not be against autism. It is not their choice to decide that they don't want autism. People should understand and not criticize them. It is also hard for parents to control their child as they do not know when they are going to scream or shout. I hope that people can be sensible and spare a thought for them

When the Father said “i’d still rather be looked upon for being a bad parent than for alex to be looked upon as a bad child “ I feel than this sentence that the Father said made me very touched as not all the parents of people with autism will rather be think of a bad parents than letting the children be a bad child. the last sentence impacted me when the father said “i hope you’ll understand. because even today , i an trying my best to understand alex “ it has been 13+ years since the father is trying to understand him but until now , he still hasnt understand him fully . its quite sad because afterall , he is alex’s father and every parent would like to understand their child .

i feel impacted when the father said, "i could only imagine how alex felt." even though alex has done many situations things to ivan and probably has stressed him out but still the father doesn't give up on him and still cares for his son even after all the situations he's been through

The last few paragraph really impacted me as the dad show so much love to him yet Alex couldn't really express back to the dad ,his child is autistic yet he still can be so positive dealing with his child. What really touches me is how his dad is so selfless and rather let other people think he is a bad parent and not let other people think his a bad child .his suck a nice guy :>

I like the last line where the writer said he is trying to understand Alex because this shows that he is not giving up on his Son and instead trying to understand more on his sons view which most of us should learn from because our school also have pathlight students who comes Everyday and by understanding them more we can try to solve the problems that they are facing

I was impacted when the first doctor of Alex told the author that it was his fault that Alex had autism. In my point of view, I'm sure that all parents would not like their children to be autistic. Like who is that doctor to say that it was the father's fault. If the father were to slend more time with Alex im sure if it was planned that alex would have autism he'll have one.
Another part that i was impacted was the way that alex second doctor treated her patients. She comfort the parents as well as the child. She was in her place n knew how does it feeel like to be in their position.

I feel that it is when the first doctor told him that it is his fault, he has failed as a parent. It is not his fault. Parents usually need to go out to work which ended up neglected the child. The doctor just assumed that he was the same as the rest. I feel that luckily he didn't listen to one doctor only.

when the father described his son's breakdowns due to his autism, and how he would rather look like a bad parent than have alex look like a bad child impacted me the most. "but i'd still rather be looked upon for being a bad parent than for alex to be looked upon as a bad child. if anyone is to be blamed for causing a scene, it would be me - for failing to manage the triggers," i think that parents who have children with autism usually have a hard time on how to properly take care of them as they have different needs from a 'normal child'.
