Most polls done tend to lean towards Bishop, but the percentage rates are very close and the sample sizes are relatively small. Bishop is also an Incumbent. He was apart of the senate from 2007 to 2010 for Michigan, then became a member of the house in 2015. President Trump has also shown his support for Bishop claiming that Elissa is being funded thousands of dollars by Nancy Pelosi, despite her stating that she doesn't support Nancy Pelosi and will not accept corporate contributions to her campaign. Now it's entirely possible that she wins, but it seems fairly unlikely given Michigan's familiarity with Bishop and the current republican majority.
