As stated in Bachelor in Paradise, one could live their entire life in a Levittown and be contet. This was partly due to the various entertainment options available, including movie theaters. The movie industry saw another boom in the 1950s following the end of World War II. With the wartime economy putting money in the pockets of consumers, families of all incomes flocked to the movie theater to enjoy the Hollywood boom. The theater found in SCV provides entertainment to its residents as well. The parallel between the two is obvious. Suburban residents wish to be entertained in the comfort of their local area and the movie theater is one way citizens can do this.

The schools in a Levittown differed from those found here in the Santa Clarita Valley. Eugene Burnett , a World War II veteran, put it perfectly when he said, "[Levittown was] symbolic of segregation in America. That's the legacy of Levittown." The few African Americans that were admitted faced extreme discrimination. Segregation was sure to be a factor any minority faced in the schooling system. In this regard, SCV and Levittowns are distinctly different. In fact, this the major factor that separates SCV from a Levittown. Segregation is simply not alive in our schooling systems.

Levittowns and Santa Clarita are similar in the ways in which neighborhoods were divided. As stated in the Levittown document, "Levittown, Pa., will be divided into sixteen separate 'neighborhoods,' each bearing distinctive place names like Stoneybrook, Lakeside, Birch Valley." This is comparable to the Santa Clarita Valley. In Santa Clarita, we have neighborhoods such as Southern Oaks, Westridge, The Arts, and the Summit. These neighborhoods contain hundreds of houses each with their own separate layouts and designs. However, inside each of these communities patterns are followed and guidelines are kept.

According to the document entitled Levittown, Levittowns were a "...one-class community on a great scale." Such is the case in the Santa Clarita Valley as well. The overwhelming majority of residents in Santa Clarita are middle to upper class families. This socioeconomic distribution is quite clearly a one-class community. The connection to a Levittown here is obvious. If you wished to live in a Levittown you had to have a certain income to be able to afford housing. This is true in SCV too, where the average price of a house is about half a million dollars.

In a Levittown in the twentieth century, about 97 percent of the population was Caucasian. In a 2010 census, it was reported that 56 percent of the Santa Clarita Valley's population was Caucasian. Although there is an obvious drop in that number, the majority of residents in a Levittown as well as in Santa Clarita are white. The difference can be attributed to the growth of racial acceptance that has taken place over the course of the past 60 years beginning with the Civil Rights Movement in 1954.

The Santa Clarita Valley is as close to a Levittown as you can get in 2017. The similarities are strikingly clear and the only major difference is the shift in racial attitudes that has transpired since the inception of Levittowns. This difference is most notable in the schooling system where segregation is no longer present. However, the similarities in entertainment, housing, socioeconomics, and demographic more than make up for this. The Santa Clarita Valley is a carefully constructed upper middle class suburb with a predominantly white population. A Levittown is unmistakably similar.
