The Treaty Of Paris is an agreement between Great Britain and our new country, The United States! Some of the key points of The Treaty states:
1. The United States is now an independent country;
2. The boundaries for the new country are on the west, The Mississippi River, on the north, Canada, and in the south, Spanish Florida;
3. The U.S. had the right to fish off of Canada´s Atlantic coast;
4. Each side, Great Britain and The U.S. shall repay their debts they owed each other;
5. The British shall return any enslaved persons they captured during the war;
6. After several battles and years, a peace treaty has been created and the Rebel leaders couldn't be happier. They are not hesitant to start a new way of government as the founding fathers believe,  “Thirteen wheels require a steady and powerful regulator to keep them in good order…”. The soldiers are to return home soon according to George Washington. The loyalists put their faith into the Redcoats and Britain's superior reputation. Many are fleeing to Canada since they were forced out of their homes by the rebels or militia. Looks like they were loyal to the wrong nation. Some loyalists are hopeful to regain their original housing as congress has recommended Patriots return loyalists' homes and property. Most Patriots have shown little to no mercy to the loyalists although.
