I chose the aztec feathered headdress because I have learned about the Aztecs in my Spanish class and about Moctezuma, the emperor who wore it, so I thought it would be good to draw it and make that connection.

To make this piece I used pastels, while were very pigmented and very messy.

I chose this piece because I have some water glasses in my house from the Moma that have this pattern on them and I had forgotten that this was one of the AP Art History works that we studied this year.

I also used pastel for this and the red was especially messy but I feel like I matched the colors of the real piece pretty well.

I chose this piece because I like jewelry and I thought that the gems on it were very pretty.

I also used pastels on this to get the bright colors and then outlined it in black pencil, which was much more precise and neat.

I chose this piece because it is on my bucket list of places to visit in person.

I used regular pencil to draw the outline and colored pencil to color it in because I wanted it to look neat.

I used regular pencil so that I could add in some shading and then colored it in with colored pencils so that you could still see the shading below.

I chose this piece because I remember learning about it and the fact that its creation process was a mystery makes it interesting to me.
