- For user/reader: experience might change

- SMPs would not be willing to pay, so they will not allow news links altogether. --> because they don't get any of the benefits of this motion
- "Social media has outgrown the traditional news" --> create their own news --> worse news, not politically neutral actors 
- Possible because SMPs always looking to expand their markets
