         <description><![CDATA[<div>If I were in charge of this course, I would make sure that it was taught by people who are actively engaged and have been engaged in social movements and civic action. The academic white male background of the professors stifles the potential for this class to be more impactful.&nbsp;Furthermore, it is also reflected in many of the readings we are doing that feel out of touch with the realities of 2021.</div>]]></description>
