“Ring…” The school bell rang. It was recess, and Sam rushed down the stairs to head to the canteen. As he hurried down, he glanced around, keeping an eye out for Johnny, who had been bullying him for the past three weeks. Johnny was the school’s most notorious bully, and the students even had a nickname for him – Bully J. Everyone feared him, and no one dared to mess with him.

Rising Action:

Before Sam entered the canteen, he scanned the area carefully and spotted a familiar figure from afar – yes, it was Johnny. His heart skipped a beat, and cold shivers went down his spine. It was too late. Johnny had already made eye contact with Sam, and he skipped over toward him, waving a sandwich in his face. He then ordered Sam to take a bite of the sandwich. Sam felt uneasy as he sensed something was wrong, but when he saw Johnny’s gang cracking their knuckles, he had no choice but to obey. Soon, his throat started to itch, and he broke out in rashes. One of Johnny’s henchmen passed a cup of vinegar to Sam. Thinking it was water, Sam took a huge gulp, and his face wrinkled up in disgust. His eyes blazed with fury, and his nostrils flared like crazy.

Climax:

Sam’s rashes were small, but the humiliation was too much. While Johnny and his gang perceived Sam as a scaredy-cat, the rage inside him was screaming. However, instead of letting his anger take over, he took a deep breath and calmed himself. He did not want to behave like the bully. Looking Johnny straight in the eye, Sam said firmly, “I have had enough, Johnny! I will not let you bully me anymore!” Johnny was dumbfounded and taken aback. He didn’t know how to respond. For the first time, someone stood up to him.

Just as Johnny's fist was about to land on Sam, a voice rang out. "Leave him alone!", and out came Ted- the school's martial arts champion.

As Johnny and his hencmans gaped at Sam in shock and amazement at his sudden reflexes. "Smack!'' Sam gave Johnny a tight smack as Johnny tried to punch him in retaliation for dodging all his blows.Johnny's eyes widened in shock as he realised what Sam had done. Growling, he said "You will pay for this! This isn't over!!''

Bully Johnny was dumbfounded and agitated at the same time. He was speechless as he did not think that Sam would ever stand up to him as he was the big bully in the school and he was just a scrawny little boy. He tried to scare Sam again by saying "How dare you say that to me, I will teach you a lesson and make you pay!" but to no avail, he failed miserably. Sam did not even feel scared at all. Instead, he said fearlessly:" Oh yeah? Let's see if you can truly make me pay, catch me if you can!"

Conclusion: He ran as fast as light towards the school field- next to the big banyan tree- while Bully Johnny and his henchmen chased after him. When they arrived there, Bully Johnny and his henchmen's jaw dropped, their faces turned as red as a tomato. The discipline master and Sam's parents were waiting for them by the big banyan tree and the bullies later got the punishment they deserved. "Well done son for telling everything to us, you are very brave for standing up to those bullies," Sam's parents proudly told Sam. In the end, Bully Johnny and his henchmen learned their lesson and never bullied anyone again. The End.

Slowly,curious students crowd around,wondering what the commotion is about.When they found out what had happened, their eyes widened and their jaw dropped agape on how brave Sam was to stand up for a bully like Johnny.Thunderous cheers and loud encouragement could be heard from afar.This gave a new sense of hope for Sam."What is going on?Why is everyone screaming and shouting?"Ms Tan,the form teacher of Empathy 1 questioned.

Conclusion:

The students who were cheering for Sam told Ms Tan what had happened when she was not around.Realization hit her like a punch on her face,there was a bullying case happening that she was not aware of. For the next few weeks, Johnny and his gang did not dare to move a finger.Rumours spread around that Johnny and his gang got punished for their actions.
