Juan David Cantillo

Fossil fuels are a big problem , because they generate greenhouse gases, they contribute to the greenhouse effect. This effect consists in that the gases don't escape from the earth but are reflected, this generates earth warming in the future .

The solution is to begin to use renewable energies or ecologist energys, when any one says ecologist energys the people think in solar energy or wind energy, but these energies are not the best. The most ecologist energy are the nuclear energy, a long the time with the evolution of the technology, the nuclear energy has become secure and ecologist, the country that more use this energy is France, the sevent greenest country in the world.

It´s difficult implent personal soluton that help to minimize this problem, but if you want to help try to stop buying a lot, try to buy only the things that you need. Other solution is try to don´t use car or motorcycle, try to use public transport, but if you want to help as many as you can use bike or just walk.

PLEASE CHECK SPELLING MISTAKES (THERE IS NO ECOLOGIST ENERGY USE "GREEN ENERGY" INSTEAD
SPELLING OF ENERGIES , REFER TO PEOPLE NOT "THE PEOPLE"

GRADE: 85

Juan Saenz
Water pollution is a complex issue, specially here in Colombia, where there are cases of oil companies that have spills in the rivers, and we can even put the Bogotá river as an example, which although in the part where it is born is clean as it pases through the different municipalities, it begins to be contaminated for the people.

In recent years, Bogotá and the other municipalities through which the river passes have been implementing several water treatment plants, in order to mitigate this effect, but it is not enough to achieve a total cleaning, so it depends a lot on each one of us as you use water.

It also very important to highlight how this pollution is increasing poverty levels, making water scarce in many vulnerable places and even very dirty.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO HIGHLIGHT WHAT MUST BE DONE TO IMPROVE THE SITUATION
GRADE: 80

Gaby Moreno
1) Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Reduce your need to buy new products, resulting in less waste. Even if you need to buy, consider buying green. It's the most effective of the three R's. Reuse bottles, plastic containers and other items purchased at the grocery store. Reusing water bottles, yogurt cups, bread loops and other items is being mindful of what is already there. This will reduce the need to buy other items that would serve the same function. Try to use disposable products in some other way. Just don't throw them away.
2) Encourage public transport, cycling and walking as a form of mobility in cities. All of these factors affect air quality in cities and the promotion of new forms of mobility in cities will substantially improve the problem of transportation in cities.
3) yes, since at this moment we are not feeling all the damages that pollution has in a very short time we will and this will affect us all leaving irreparable damages.
4) bottles, plastic bags, caps, cans, food packages,
cardboard.
5) the use of public transport avoids the emission of up to 5 million tons of CO2 per year, so with simple gestures such as the use of public transport or electric cars, we can contribute to have a better air. You know, from now on... bus, subway or bicycle to contribute to mitigate one of the environmental problems that is harming your health.

Daniel Nieto
Factories are one of the biggest problems facing the planet.
The problem is not the factories themselves but the gases they emit.
Large factories create greenhouse gases, plus all the waste they release reaches the seas and rivers, killing water in many places.
They also use very powerful chemicals and non-renewable natural resources to create all their products, making trees, drinking water, animals, etc., disappear.
The best solution to all this is for large companies to become aware of the damage to the planet, if they did this, they would look for an effective way to contain all gases and reuse them in the form of energy, they would also stop destroying entire forests and would look for a way that all waste does not get into the water.
In conclusion, the solution is for companies to feel the pain of the planet.

GRADE: 80

Estefanía Ramirez
The World Health Organization (WHO) defines contaminated water as that which undergoes changes in its composition until it is unusable. That is, it is toxic water that cannot be drunk or used for essential activities such as agriculture, the main water pollutants include bacteria, viruses, parasites, fertilizers, pesticides, drugs, nitrates, phosphates, plastics, fecal waste and even substances radioactive.
CAUSES OF THE CONTAMINATION OF THE WATER
Natural factors, such as the seepage of mercury present in the Earth's crust, can pollute the oceans, rivers, lakes, canals and reservoirs. However, it is common for water deterioration to come from human activities and its consequences, which are detailed below:
Global warming
The increase in the earth's temperature, due to CO2 emissions, heats the water and this causes its oxygen level to decrease.
Deforestation
Cutting down forests can deplete water sources and generate organic waste that serves as a breeding ground for contaminating bacteria.
Industrial, agricultural and livestock activities
Chemical spills from these sectors are one of the main causes of water eutrophication.
-Rubbish and sewage discharges
The world's wastewater that reaches the sea and rivers is untreated.
Maritime traffic
Much of the plastics that pollute the oceans come from fishing boats, oil tankers and freight transporters.
Fuel spills
The transportation and storage of oil and its derivatives give rise to leaks that can reach water sources.Consequences of water pollution
Deteriorating water quality has negative effects on the environment, health and the global economy. The explanation is that when the biological oxygen demand - a measure that shows the organic pollution registered in the water - exceeds a certain threshold, the growth of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the regions located in the basins falls by up to a third. Next, we review other consequences:
• Destruction of biodiversity.
• Contamination of the food chain.
• Shortage of drinking water.
•Diseases.
•Child mortality.

YOU DESCRIBED PERFECTLY THE SITUATION OF WATER CONTAMINATION HOWEVER, I WANTED TO SEE WHAT YOUR IDEA OF WHAT MUST BE DONE TO IMPROVE IT.
80

My opinion is that the pollution of the city is caused by factories, trucks, cars, etc.. that release a gas which pollutes the atmosphere. It is also affected by people throwing garbage into the streets, rivers and forests. And if we don't change these habits of throwing garbage everywhere, it will become a habit and that will be worse.
