Architect: Adrian Smith

Project: Burj Khalifa

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Materials: Glass, steel, aluminum, and reinforced concrete

The Burj Khalifa is one of the most impressive buildings in the world. Designed by American architect Adrian Smith, this project symbolizes modern engineering and human ambition. Located in the center of Dubai, it stands 828 meters tall, making it the tallest building in the world.

The building is mainly made of glass and steel, giving it a sleek, futuristic appearance. Compared to other skyscrapers such as the Shanghai Tower or Taipei 101, the Burj Khalifa is far more elegant and taller.

Inside, the building contains luxury apartments, offices, and a hotel designed by Giorgio Armani. The interior is modern, with marble floors and high ceilings that create a sense of space and brightness. The exterior shines beautifully under the sunlight, especially at night when it is covered with colorful lights.

In my opinion, the Burj Khalifa is not only a great architectural achievement but also a symbol of creativity and determination. It represents what humans can achieve when combining art and technology.

The Sydney Opera House was designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon. His unique vision helped turn the building into one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world. This project began in 1957 and was completed in 1973. Despite facing budget overruns and delays, the final structure became a masterpiece of modern architecture and engineering. The Opera House is located on Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour, Australia. It sits prominently on the waterfront, surrounded by the sea on three sides, and is a key feature of the Sydney skyline. The building was constructed using concrete, glass, and ceramic roof tiles. The roof shells are covered with over one million glossy white and matte cream tiles, which reflect sunlight beautifully during the day. Unlike traditional opera houses with classical or baroque styles, the Sydney Opera House has a futuristic and sculptural design. Compared to buildings like the Royal Opera House in London or La Scala in Milan, the Sydney Opera House is far more innovative in appearance. Inside, the building houses several performance halls, including the Concert Hall and Opera Theatre. The interiors feature warm timber walls and ceilings, creating a cozy but grand atmosphere. The acoustics are world-class, making it ideal for music performances. The exterior is famous for its sail-like design. The building looks like a series of white sails floating on the water, which perfectly matches the harbor setting. The dramatic curves and angles make it a favorite subject for photographers and tourists. In my opinion, the Sydney Opera House is a perfect blend of art, architecture, and nature. It is not only a place for cultural performances but also a symbol of creativity and national pride for Australia. Visiting this building was an unforgettable experience for me.

The Eiffel Tower is one of the most famous architectural works in the world. It was designed by Gustave Eiffel, a French engineer known for his innovative use of iron. The project was built as the entrance arch to the 1889 World’s Fair in Paris, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. The tower is located in Champ de Mars, near the River Seine, in the heart of Paris.

The materials used mainly include wrought iron, which gives the tower its strength and unique industrial beauty. Compared with other famous buildings, such as the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower represents a new era of engineering and design, symbolizing modernity and progress.

Inside, there are three observation levels connected by elevators and stairs, offering restaurants, souvenir shops, and stunning panoramic views of Paris. The exterior is elegant and delicate, with its iron lattice structure making it both massive and graceful.

In my opinion, the Eiffel Tower is not just a monument but a masterpiece of human creativity. It continues to inspire millions of visitors every year with its beauty, history, and cultural importance.

It was developed by Vingroup, one of the country’s leading corporations, and designed by a team of experienced Vietnamese and international architects. The project is located in Đông Anh District, near the Red River, just across from central Hà Nội, which makes it a perfect connection between the old city and the new urban area.

The buildings are mainly constructed from glass, steel, and high-quality concrete, giving the area a modern and elegant appearance.

One of the most famous buildings in Vietnam is the Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace, located in Ho Chi Minh City. It was constructed in the 1960s to serve as the residence and workplace of the President of South Vietnam. During that time, it was not only a political center but also a symbol of power and authority. The palace was designed by Vietnamese architect Ngô Viết Thụ, who wanted to combine modern architecture with traditional Asian harmony. The building was mainly made of reinforced concrete, glass, and wood, which helped it stay cool in the tropical climate. Its structure includes wide corridors, open spaces, and large windows that allow natural light to enter. Surrounding the palace are beautiful gardens, fountains, which create a calm atmosphere. Inside, visitors can explore important meeting rooms, conference halls, and even secret tunnels used during the war. Today, the Independence Palace functions as a museum where people can learn about Vietnam’s history. To me, it represents both architectural creativity and the country’s enduring spirit of unity and peace.

The Hanoi Opera House is one of the most famous buildings in Vietnam. It was designed by two French architects and completed in 1911. The building located in the center of Hanoi, near Hoan Kiem Lake. It is made of stone, bricks, wood and glass, which makes it both strong and elegant.

From outside, the opera house looks very impressive. It has yellow walls, white pillars and a large French-style roof. The big windows and curved balconies make it look very graceful. In front of the building, there is a small square where people usually take photos or relaxing after walking around.

Inside, the opera house is even more beautiful. The hall is decorated with golden patterns, red velvet seats and bright chandeliers. The large stage is used for many performances like plays, concerts and traditional dances. The sound is quite clear and powerful, which makes every show become special.

Compared with the Paris Opera House, it is smaller but more cozy.

Designed by architect Ieoh Ming Pei, the Louvre Pyramid in Paris is one of the most remarkable examples of modern architecture harmonizing with history. Completed in 1989, the project aimed to create a new entrance to the Louvre Museum that would handle the growing number of visitors while maintaining the elegance of the original Renaissance palace.

The pyramid is located in the Cour Napoléon courtyard and is constructed mainly of glass and metal. Its 673 glass panels allow sunlight to flood the underground lobby, creating an atmosphere that feels both spacious and serene. Unlike the heavy stone facades of the museum, the transparent pyramid represents openness and innovation, symbolizing the connection between the past and the present.

From the outside, its geometric precision contrasts beautifully with the surrounding classical architecture, especially when illuminated at night. In my opinion, the Louvre Pyramid stands as a powerful reminder that tradition and modernity can coexist gracefully, and that architecture can serve as both art and dialogue across centuries.

Independence Palace (Dinh Độc Lập), located in HCM City, is an important structure by Architect Ngô Viết Thụ. The structure, which Ngô Viết Thụ and his colleague worked on, skillfully combines Western Modernist principles with profound Eastern ideas about life.

The building is a large, balanced shape, built mainly from reinforced concrete. Its design does not use a lot of decoration, focusing on an abstract shape-based approach. Significantly, the patterned screens clearly show traditional Chinese Letters, demonstrating a good intention to include cultural meaning in a practical design. Furthermore, the large helicopter landing area on the roof makes the building look strong and important.

Inside, the Palace's arrangement is meant to comprise a clear order of rooms and areas. Visitors can obtain a good sense of how the building is divided for different uses, which is very different from the bottom level's working command center.

Overall, Ngô Viết Thụ's work is widely praised for creating a good balance between modern design and significant cultural symbols of Vietnam. The Palace is truly a permanent national symbol

Designed by Meinhard von Gerkan và Nikolaus Goetze, the building was completed in 2010 to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi. The structure takes the shape of an inverted pyramid, symbolizing balance, creativity, and the continuous growth of the city.

The design of the museum blends modern architectural techniques with traditional Vietnamese symbolism. Its large roof extends widely, creating natural shade and protecting visitors from the sun and rain. The reflective glass façade mirrors the surrounding landscape, helping the building harmonize with its environment. This combination of geometry and symbolism makes the museum both futuristic and rooted in Vietnamese identity.

Inside, the museum includes exhibition halls, conference areas, and open spaces for cultural events. The interior design emphasizes light, openness, and interaction, allowing visitors to experience both art and architecture at the same time.

The Louvre Museum in Paris, France, is one of the most beautiful and famous museums in the world. It was first a royal palace built in the 12th century and became a public museum in 1793. Later, in 1989, architect I. M. Pei added the modern glass pyramid, which became the new symbol of the Louvre.

From the outside, the museum is a wonderful mix of old and new. The glass pyramid stands proudly in the center of a large square, surrounded by fountains and the grand stone walls of the ancient palace. The pyramid, made of glass and steel, shines under the Paris sunlight and reflects the sky. Around it, the palace buildings made of limestone and marble create a strong contrast with the modern glass structure. This harmony between classical and modern styles makes the Louvre truly special.

When walking closer, visitors pass through open courtyards and long stone corridors before entering the main hall under the glass pyramid. The sunlight coming through the glass fills the space with a warm and natural glow. From this central area, stairs lead to different sections of the museum.

Inside, the Louvre is enormous and elegant. It has high ceilings, wide staircases, and endless galleries. The walls are decorated with paintings, sculptures, and golden details that show the glory of French art and history. The atmosphere is peaceful, almost like walking through time. Among the thousands of artworks, the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo are the most famous and beloved.

Overall, the Louvre Museum is not only a place to keep art but also a symbol of human creativity. From its shining glass pyramid to its quiet galleries, every corner tells a story about the beauty and power of art through the centuries.

The results reveal that sleep deprivation is quite common among students due to academic pressure and late-night phone use.

Overall, the findings show that most students do not get enough rest. More than half of the participants (56%) reported sleeping only 5–6 hours per night, while 28% slept 7–8 hours. A small number (8%) had less than 5 hours, and another 8% enjoyed more than 8 hours of sleep. In terms of bedtime, nearly half (48%) went to bed after midnight, which strongly affects their rest.

In detail, 44% of the respondents rated their sleep quality as “fair,” and 28% as “poor.” The most common factors disturbing sleep were academic workload (36%) and phone or social media use (32%). Only a few mentioned stress or environmental noise as major issues.

It can be concluded that poor sleep quality among students is mainly caused by study pressure and technology use. Therefore, better time management and reducing screen time before bed are essential for improving students’ health and performance.

What concerns you most about using AI in learning?

☐ Inaccurate information

☐ Losing independence

☐ Academic dishonesty

☐ Other: ___________

The survey on students’ use of AI tools in learning collected responses from 100 university students. The results show that second- and third-year students make up the majority of users, much higher than first- or fourth-year ones. In terms of frequency, nearly two-thirds of students use AI regularly, with 25% using it daily and 40% several times a week, showing that AI has become a common part of their study routine. ChatGPT stands out as the most widely used tool, far ahead of Grammarly and QuillBot. Most students rely on AI mainly for writing assignments and translation, rather than problem-solving tasks. About 70% believe that AI helps them understand lessons faster, and more than half think it saves them considerable study time. However, fewer students consistently check the accuracy of AI-generated content. While teachers’ encouragement varies, more students report positive support than opposition. Saving time is viewed as the biggest advantage, but concerns about inaccurate information and academic dishonesty remain notable. Overall, students appreciate AI’s efficiency yet remain cautious about overdependence.

Overall, how satisfied are you with the canteen service?

☐ Very satisfied ☐ Satisfied ☐ Neutral ☐ Unsatisfied

Report

In every school, the canteen plays a vital role in students’ daily lives, serving not only as a place to eat but also as a space for social interaction. To gain deeper insights into students’ satisfaction and identify possible improvements, I conducted a ten-question survey focusing on the quality, prices, and service of the school canteen. A total of 60 students from different grades voluntarily participated.

The survey results revealed several noteworthy patterns. Nearly 70% of respondents bought food from the canteen every day, showing its popularity; however, only about half were satisfied with the limited food variety. Two-thirds felt that prices were slightly higher than expected, whereas just one-fifth found them reasonable. When asked about cleanliness, most students rated it as good or excellent, suggesting consistent hygiene standards. In contrast, around 60% complained that the waiting time was too long, particularly during lunch breaks. A higher proportion of students appreciated the staff’s politeness and helpfulness, and over 80% strongly supported adding healthier and more nutritious dishes. Interestingly, more than half favored introducing a digital pre-ordering system to reduce queues.

Overall, students were more satisfied with service and hygiene than with food diversity and pricing. Improving menu options and service efficiency could significantly enhance their dining experience.

The results showed different points of view among the students. About 57% said they wore makeup sometimes or regularly, while 43% preferred a natural appearance. When asked if makeup should be banned, 34% agreed or strongly agreed, while 66% disagreed or strongly disagreed with the idea.

Furthermore, 60% of the participants believed that light makeup helps students feel more confident, especially in social situations or class presentations. However, 46% thought that wearing too much makeup could become a distraction or lead to unnecessary competition among classmates. Most respondents, about 71%, said schools should allow natural or minimal makeup instead of imposing a complete ban.

In conclusion, the findings suggest that most students do not support a strict ban on makeup. Instead, they prefer reasonable guidelines that promote moderation and neatness. Schools could focus on teaching students self-confidence and self-respect, encouraging them to express themselves appropriately while maintaining a positive learning environment.

Survey report

The report summarises the findings of a survey on study motivation among first- and second-year English-major students at Hùng Vương University. The aim was to identify common sources of motivation, challenges, and strategies students use to stay motivated in their studies. Overall, most respondents showed a moderate level of motivation, with personal goals and career ambitions being the strongest motivating factors. However, stress, tiredness, and distractions continued to affect their academic focus. In terms of demographics, 64.7% of respondents were female and 35.3% male. The majority were second-year students (86.7%), while the rest were in their first year. Regarding motivation levels, 42.8% said they were often motivated, 36.9% sometimes, and 20.3% rarely. When asked about motivation sources, personal goals (54.6%) ranked first, followed by future career prospects (28.3%) and family expectations (17.1%). The main demotivating factors were stress and tiredness (35.8%), social media distractions (30.7%), and uninteresting subjects (22.1%). To stay motivated, 48.9% relied on time management, 41.6% on setting smaller goals, and 27.4% on group study. Teachers were seen as quite helpful (40.8%), very helpful (18.6%), and a little helpful (25.2%). In conclusion, most students sustain motivation through personal discipline and clear goals, though stress management and classroom engagement remain areas needing attention.

The results reveal a complex relationship between students and their devices.

The data shows that an overwhelming majority (92%) of students own and regularly bring smartphones to school. Interestingly, while 68% admit to using their phones for non-academic activities like social media during lessons, nearly 60% also reported using them for learning purposes such as research and dictionary apps. This dual usage pattern highlights the smartphone's role as both a distraction and potential learning tool.

A significant finding was that 64% of respondents believe smartphone use during class reduces their concentration. However, despite this awareness, 72% opposed a complete ban on phones in classroom. Instead, most students preferred regulated use for academic purposes under teacher supervision. Notably, 56% reported that their teachers rarely incorporate smartphones into formal learning activities, suggesting a gap between student practices and classroom integration.

In conclusion, the survey indicates that while smartphones present clear distractions, students recognize their educational value. The challenge for educators is to establish clear usage guidelines while finding ways to effectively integrate this technology into the learning process, potentially turning a source of distraction into an educational asset.

The movie Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, directed by Alfonso Cuarón, is often considered one of the most unique films in the Harry Potter series. It is rare for a fantasy film to blend mystery, emotion, and darker themes so effectively. It is also rare to see a story about growing up expressed so beautifully. The film adds depth to the ongoing debate about fear and courage, showing that confronting the truth is often the bravest thing a person can do.

In the opening scenes, viewers experience the tense atmosphere surrounding Hogwarts. The arrival of the Dementors, ghostlike creatures that feed on happiness, creates a chilling mood. A young Harry struggles with nightmares and painful memories, yet he continues searching for answers about Sirius Black, a man believed to be a dangerous criminal. In contrast, the truth Harry later discovers reveals not fear, but compassion and injustice. His friendships with Ron and Hermione grow stronger as they work together to uncover the past and protect one another.

In sum, The Prisoner of Azkaban tells the story of a boy learning that the world is far more complex than he once believed. It captures the confusion and wonder of adolescence with remarkable detail. Virtually every scene shows how truth, even when frightening, can set someone free. From the misty grounds of Hogwarts to the dramatic final rescue, the film presents a world that feels both magical and deeply human

Trần Minh Đức. Review The World's End.

You might not expect a slapstick comedy about middle-aged pubcrawlers brawling with superhuman extraterrestrial invaders to have brains, heart and wisdom, but that’s “The World’s End,” a rare film that’s as much fun as you’ve heard. The first part of the movie consists of Gary “getting the old band back together,” as he puts it, to re-enact their great thwarted pub odyssey from 1990, when they resolved to hit all twelve nightspots in their old hometown of Newton Haven. The quiet little town is home to bars with mythologically and otherwise suggestively loaded names: The Two-Headed Dog, The Famous Cock, The Trusty Servant, The World’s End. That the pals didn’t finish their quest has always gnawed at Gary. He’s obsessed with pinning a triumphant end on a long-unfinished story. If “The World’s End” were only a picture about childhood buddies on a bittersweet pub crawl, it might have still been some sort of minor classic, so sharply observed is every shot, cut, music cue, line and close-up. When the film takes a right turn into science fiction conspiracy thriller territory—invoking “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” as well as such Carpenter films as “The Fog” and “Prince of Darkness“—you might worry that it’s about to succumb to Gary’s biggest fear, and trade spiky if heedless individuality for a tiresome grab at commercial formula. In an era in which mainstream movies not only lack rhythm but seem to have forgotten how to dance, this one’s briskness is inspiring. Its judgment is nearly unerring, and it has a sense of joy that’s rare. Like most genre films, “The World’s End” is working things through in an extremely broad way and having a grand time doing it, and its self-deprecating wit inoculates it against self-importance. The movie wears its themes on its sleeve and pins its symbols to its puffed-out rooster’s chest, swaggers about with a proud grin jabbing thumbs at itself, then walks into an open manhole. It’s magnificent.

Kung Fu Panda is an entertaining animated film starring Jack Black as the voice of Po. The story follows a panda who has a strong passion for Kung Fu, even though his father expects him to continue the family noodle business. Because of this, Po feels torn between his duty and his dream, which makes his journey more relatable.

Everything changes when Po unexpectedly gets the chance to train with a real Kung Fu master. Although he is unfit and inexperienced, he joins several famous warriors and tries his best to keep up with them. Through many challenges, Po slowly begins to improve, showing that effort and confidence can be just as important as natural talent. These training scenes are both humorous and inspiring, which makes the movie enjoyable for many viewers.

The plot is quite easy to follow, and the film uses bright colours, lively music, and exciting action to keep the audience engaged. Even though the message is simple, it is delivered in a meaningful way. The movie encourages people, especially young viewers, to believe in themselves and to follow their dreams even when others doubt them.

Overall, I think Kung Fu Panda is a fun and heartwarming movie that children will definitely love. It combines comedy, adventure, and life lessons in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. It is a film that can make the whole family smile.

Coco is one of the most emotional animated movies I have ever seen. It combines music, family, and unforgettable memories to create a story that stays with the audience. That is why I chose to review this film.

The story follows Miguel, a young boy who dreams of becoming a musician even though his family strictly forbids music. Miguel is brave, passionate, and determined to follow his heart. Another important character is Hector, a kind but mysterious man Miguel meets in the Land of the Dead. He plays a major role in helping Miguel discover the truth about his family.

The key events of the film include Miguel accidentally entering the Land of the Dead, his search for his idol Ernesto de la Cruz, and his surprising discovery about his true ancestor. Along this journey, Miguel learns valuable lessons about family, memory, and staying true to himself.

I choose not to reveal the ending because it is the most touching and meaningful part of the story. Watching it without spoilers helps the audience feel the full emotion. However, I can say that the ending delivers a powerful message about love, forgiveness, and the importance of remembering those we care about.

One movie that has truly inspired me is Come Back Mister, a Korean drama that combines comedy, fantasy, and touching life lessons. The story begins when two men die unexpectedly and later watch a mysterious tape in the afterlife that seems to imply their lives ended unfairly. They are allowed to return to the world to extract the truth behind their deaths, but strict rules prohibit them from revealing their real identities or changing the past too much.

In contrast to typical fantasy dramas, this series uses humor to enhance emotional moments rather than displace them. As the subsequent episodes unfold, the characters begin to understand what truly matters. Their journey helps them attain not only justice but also emotional closure. The eventual message that love, kindness, and sincerity cannot be replaced, even in a virtual or temporary form felt incredibly meaningful to me.

Although some scenes are somewhat exaggerated, the overall storytelling remains strong. The drama encourages viewers to reflect on family relationships and the regrets people often carry. It also sparks a quiet debate about whether second chances would really change who we are, or simply reveal the choices we should have made.

To sum up, Come Back Mister is more than just entertainment. It is a heartfelt story that reminds us to cherish the people we love and to live sincerely before it’s too late. Its emotional depth and warm message continue to inspire me long after watching it.

Frozen, produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, is an animated film that explores the complicated but meaningful bond between two sisters, Elsa and Anna. The story takes place in the fictional kingdom of Arendelle, where Elsa’s magical ability to create ice becomes both a gift and a burden.

One of the film’s strengths is its fresh approach to the traditional Disney formula. Instead of focusing on romantic love, it highlights family relationships and personal growth. The plot moves at a steady pace, balancing humour, emotion, and music. The soundtrack, especially “Let It Go,” is memorable and effectively expresses Elsa’s inner conflict.

The animation is another impressive aspect. The snow and ice effects are visually stunning, creating a magical atmosphere that appeals to both children and adults. The characters are also well-developed: Elsa represents fear and self-doubt, while Anna embodies optimism and loyalty, making their dynamic engaging throughout the film.

However, the movie relies heavily on musical numbers, which may not appeal to every viewer. Some supporting characters, like the trolls, feel less meaningful to the overall story.

Overall, Frozen is a charming and visually captivating film that delivers a strong message about acceptance, responsibility, and the power of sisterhood.

Interstellar, directed by Christopher Nolan, is a science-fiction drama that follows the emotional journey of Cooper, a former pilot who joins a mission to save humanity. Earth is facing environmental collapse, and Cooper must travel through a wormhole to search for a new planet, leaving behind his daughter Murphy.

One of the film’s strongest elements is its emotional focus. Instead of relying only on action, Interstellar highlights the deep bond between a father and his child. This relationship gives the story heart and keeps the audience invested. The plot skillfully combines scientific ideas with human feelings, and Hans Zimmer’s powerful soundtrack adds intensity and wonder to every scene.

Visually, the movie is impressive. The depiction of space, the wormhole, and the distant planets is both realistic and visually stunning. Nolan’s use of practical effects and detailed design creates an immersive and believable world. The characters are also memorable: Cooper shows bravery and sacrifice, while Murphy represents intelligence and determination.

However, the film’s scientific explanations and long duration may feel overwhelming for some viewers.

Overall, Interstellar is a captivating and thought-provoking film that explores love, hope, and humanity’s will to survive.

The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse is a short animated film released in 2022, adapted from the beloved book of the same name by Charlie Mackesy, featuring a gentle, delicate soundtrack by Isobel Waller‑Bridge that perfectly complements its reflective tone. The film tells the story of a boy wandering through a snow-covered land, searching for a “home” — though in truth, he is seeking kindness, peace, and a sense of connection in a world that can feel vast and lonely. Along the way, he meets a cake-loving mole, an injured fox, and a wise, gentle horse; together, they share their fears, their hopes, and their small yet profoundly meaningful dreams. The dialogues, simple in form yet rich in insight, carry deep humanistic philosophy, offering gentle reminders and thought-provoking reflections on courage, sincerity, the strength found in vulnerability, and the importance of friendship and empathy. Every question, every answer, and every bit of advice resonates with warmth and wisdom, making each moment in the film feel precious and significant. The story does not rely on dramatic tension or action but rather on an introspective journey, giving viewers a sense of calm and quiet reflection, like a brief meditation amidst the rush of life. Hand-drawn imagery and soft, soothing color palettes, paired with dialogue that emphasizes compassion and understanding, leave the audience feeling comforted and encouraged to cherish kindness, connection, and courage. It is a truly gentle yet profoundly moving work, ideal for anyone seeking a moment of pause, reflection, and inner peace.

Among the Korean dramas of the past ten years, Crash Landing on You is among the most memorable. The narrative starts when Yoon Se-ri, a prosperous South Korean entrepreneur, unintentionally arrives in North Korea following a paragliding mishap. This peculiar arrangement draws notice right once and serves as the catalyst for a passionate romance between Se-ri and Captain Ri Jeong-hyeok, a kind but strict North Korean officer.

Comedy, suspense, and emotional depth are all skillfully combined in this series, which makes it unique. The chemistry between the two protagonists makes everything seem plausible, even though the plot is a little ridiculous. Their performances are powerful enough to carry even the slower episodes. In addition to providing warmth and humor, the supporting cast also helps to counterbalance the stress that the political environment creates.

The drama's cinematography is another strong point. The contrast between living in the North and the South is sensitively depicted in a number of exquisitely shot moments. The show's steady rhythm and well-developed character arcs keep viewers interested despite its sometimes lengthy runtime.

All things considered, Crash Landing on You is a heartwarming and enjoyable drama that will appeal to both casual viewers and ardent fans of K-dramas.

When I first watched Grave of the Fireflies, I didn’t expect an animated film to move me so deeply. It is a quiet yet powerful story that shows how war can destroy lives but never completely erase love. The film’s simplicity enhances every emotion, making it unforgettable. The director masterfully uses setting and color palette to illustrate the harsh reality facing the Japanese homefront, creating an atmosphere of pervasive hopelessness that grips the viewer.

One unforgettable scene shows Seita feeding Setsuko instead of himself. His words, “I’ll be fine, you eat,” express endless love and a level of selfless sacrifice rarely seen on screen. The glowing fireflies contrast with the darkness of their world, implying that hope still flickers even in despair. When Setsuko buries the dead fireflies, we can extract the message that their fragile beauty mirrors her own fleeting life. This moment subtly yet devastatingly foreshadows the tragedy that is about to unfold.

Although the eventual ending is full of sorrow, it reminds us that compassion must never be prohibited. In sum, the film delivers a timeless message: peace and empathy are humanity’s greatest lights.

Have you ever felt like the only person who doesn’t belong? That is exactly the feeling that Encanto explores through the story of Mirabel, a girl born into a magical family with no gift of her own. Encanto is a touching and beautifully animated film that explores the meaning of family, identity, and self-worth. The story follows Mirabel, the only member of the magical Madrigal family who has no special gift. In my opinion, the most important aspect of the film is its message that true value comes from who we are, not from what we can do. This idea becomes clearer as Mirabel tries to understand why their magical house is falling apart. One moment that strongly shaped my opinion is the scene where Mirabel confronts her grandmother, Abuela. It shows how the pressure to protect the family’s reputation has hurt everyone, especially Mirabel. Another memorable part is Luisa’s song “Surface Pressure,” which highlights how overwhelming expectations can be. These scenes helped me relate to the characters on a deeper level. I also love the film’s vibrant music, colorful world, and meaningful symbols. Overall, Encanto is an inspiring movie that reminds us that every person has a purpose, even without a “gift,” and that love and understanding are what truly hold a family together.

Directed by Khương Ngọc, “Cục Vàng Của Ngoại” is a warm and heartfelt family drama that deeply explores the bond between a grandmother and her young grandchild. The story takes place in a humble neighborhood, where Grandma Hậu becomes the child’s only caretaker after the mother leaves. Despite financial hardship, her love remains unconditional — she calls the child her “little treasure,” showing just how precious he is to her.

The film guides viewers through simple yet touching everyday moments: the grandmother preparing meals, walking the child to school, gently scolding him out of worry, and finding joy in his small achievements. These subtle details paint an authentic and intimate picture of their close relationship.

The movie also touches on generational differences, revealing how family values and memories are passed down over time. With its gentle storytelling and emotional depth, the film delivers a beautiful message about sacrifice, quiet love, and the true meaning of home.

Film: When I Fly Towards You

When I first watched “When I Fly Towards You”, I was surprised by how quietly the story touched my heart. It captures the sweetness of youth while showing how insecurity can shape a person’s world. With its warm colors and gentle pacing, the film enhances simple moments and turns them into lasting memories.

I have watched the film carefully, and I think it is a sweet and heart-warming story. It follows Su Zaizai and Zhang Lurang, two high school students who try to attain confidence while dealing with family pressure and self-doubt. Zhang Lurang often feels displaced by the constant comparison with his younger brother, and this makes him quiet and insecure. The bright colors and simple scenes enhance the light and youthful feeling of the film.

One example I like is when Zhang Lurang tells Su Zaizai, “I ran toward you because you make me feel safe.” His words imply that she brings comfort to his life. Their cheerful school moments contrast with the worries he hides inside. From this, we can extract the idea that having someone who understands you can help you grow.

Although the eventual problems cause distance between them, their feelings are strong and never prohibited by fear. In sum, the film shows that friendship and young love can make people braver and happier.

Ratatouille is one of Pixar’s most charming and surprisingly profound animations, and I believe it deserves its status as a modern classic. Although it appears to be a simple family film, it offers a thoughtful exploration of ambition, identity, and the idea that creativity can come from anyone.

The story follows Remy, a rat with an extraordinary sense of taste who dreams of becoming a chef. This unusual protagonist makes the film instantly memorable. Instead of relying on predictable cartoon humour, the movie builds a genuinely inspiring character arc. Remy’s determination, despite constant rejection, illustrates the importance of following one’s passion even when society labels you as “unfit.”

The film also excels in world-building. Its depiction of Paris is warm and atmospheric, and the kitchen scenes feel dynamic thanks to vivid sound design and fast-paced editing. Moreover, the partnership between Remy and Linguini adds emotional depth. Through their clumsy yet heartfelt teamwork, the movie highlights themes of cooperation, trust, and self-discovery.

What makes Ratatouille truly outstanding is its message: talent is not limited by background or appearance. This empowering idea, combined with stunning animation and a heartwarming narrative, makes the film both entertaining and meaningful.

Overall, Ratatouille is a delightful blend of humour, creativity, and life lessons—an animation that stays with you long after it ends.

The Little Mermaid is a classic Disney animated fantasy film directed by John Musker. It tells the story of Ariel, a young mermaid who dreams of exploring the human world and discovering life beyond the sea.

The plot begins when Ariel saves Prince Eric from a shipwreck and becomes fascinated with life on land. Determined to follow her heart, she makes a dangerous deal with the sea witch Ursula in exchange for human legs. From there, Ariel faces many challenges while trying to win Eric’s love and protect her underwater kingdom. The film keeps the storyline engaging without revealing too many major twists too early.

I really enjoyed this movie because of its beautiful animation and memorable soundtrack. Songs like Part of Your World and Under the Sea make the film emotional and fun to watch. I also like Ariel’s adventurous and courageous personality, which inspires viewers to chase their dreams. However, some scenes feel a bit rushed, especially near the ending. Despite that, The Little Mermaid remains a charming and magical film that appeals to both children and adults. It is definitely worth watching if you love heart warming and imaginative stories.

James Cameron’s "Avatar" (2009) is a groundbreaking science-fiction film that impressed audiences with its advanced 3D technology and imaginative world-building. Set on the distant moon Pandora, the film explores themes of environmental protection, cultural conflict, and identity. Its unique combination of visual innovation and emotional storytelling has helped it become one of the most influential movies of its decade.

The story follows Jake Sully, a former Marine who joins the Avatar Program after losing the use of his legs. By controlling a genetically engineered Na’vi body, he is able to walk again and interact with Pandora’s native people. Although his original mission is to collect information for a human mining corporation, Jake gradually learns the Na’vi’s language, traditions, and spiritual connection to nature. His growing sympathy for them forces him to choose between loyalty to his employers and protecting the community that has accepted him.

The film’s strongest feature is its stunning visual design. Pandora’s glowing forests, floating mountains, and unusual creatures create an immersive cinematic experience. The movie also offers a meaningful message about respecting indigenous cultures. However, some viewers may find the plot predictable and the characters somewhat familiar.

In conclusion, "Avatar" remains a visually remarkable and emotionally engaging film. Its blend of technological achievement and powerful themes makes it a memorable and worthwhile viewing experience.

Waves at the Bottom of the River is a powerful and emotional Vietnamese drama that left a strong impression on me as a university student. The film follows Núi, a boy who grows up in a harsh and loveless environment, constantly facing abuse, neglect, and misunderstandings from the people around him. His difficult childhood pushes him into many painful situations, shaping him into someone who has to struggle just to survive and be understood. Despite all the hardship, Núi remains a character full of resilience and quiet strength, and watching him navigate life’s injustices is both heartbreaking and deeply inspiring. With sincere performances and a realistic portrayal of family and social issues, the film highlights themes like childhood trauma, poverty, and the desperate search for affection. To me, Waves at the Bottom of the River is not just a tragic story, but a reminder of how empathy and kindness can change the path of someone who has been hurt for too long.

Film review : Mưa Đỏ

Mưa Đỏ is a powerful Vietnamese historical drama that recreates the tragedy of the Sơn Mỹ massacre. The film tells its story through the lives of innocent villagers whose peaceful routines are suddenly destroyed by war. Instead of relying on graphic scenes, the movie focuses on human emotions, highlighting fear, pain, and the quiet bravery that rises in moments of chaos.

The storyline is well-built, moving naturally from calm daily activities to the terrifying attack. This sharp contrast makes the tragedy even more striking. One of the strongest features of Mưa Đỏ is its character portrayal. Each villager is shown as a real person with their own joys, worries, and hopes for the future. Because of this, the audience quickly forms a deep emotional connection with them.

The film’s visuals are simple yet effective. Natural lighting and earthy tones create a sense of realism, while the sound design adds tension, especially in the quiet scenes before the assault. The actors deliver sincere performances that make the story feel personal and authentic.

Although Mưa Đỏ deals with painful history, it carries a meaningful message. By telling this story, the film reminds viewers to honor the past, understand the cost of violence, and value peace. Overall, Mưa Đỏ is a moving and beautifully crafted film that leaves a lasting impression on anyone who watches it.
