There are good reasons why one should utilize public transportation, it can be cheaper than driving and maintaining your own car, and it can save time depending on where you want to go. Although the reasons and benefits in favor of public transportation may seem obvious, these reasons are often overlooked because of the negative experiences an individual may have while taking public transportation such as often deal with a person’s convenience, personal space, time and money. That’s why UMP’s student more likely to a rent a car rather than using public transportation.

First of all, when you’re going shopping or purchasing groceries, going by public transportation can be a hassle. You have to carry all the things that you purchased, and sometimes, carry your goods and make your way through the crowd of passengers. Moreover, in UMP Pekan, the distance between bus stop and the main entrance of campus is too remote. Just imagine that how could you carried your own purchased along the way by yourselves? That’s why most of student in UMP who experience this problem often to rent a car from their seniors.

Since public transportation follows a specific route, there is no guarantee that you will be able to save time during travel. When compared to drive by yourselves, public transportation can usually take 15 to 20 minutes longer when going to the Kuantan. This is especially true if the public transportation takes the most congested route along busy roads. By using rental car, student will more punctual in doing something important. Instead of using public transport, when it comes to the cost matter, you can compare the fare of rent a car is more beneficial by sharing the fare together with your friends.

Using public transportation means you have to squeeze your way through a lot of other bus especially during rush hours. For some people who are not used to small spaces which can often become cramped, using public transportation can be an awful experience. It is all about the comfortable of students as we can enjoy and relax ourselves and have some privacy by using a car. It is not like when us use public transportation, we are suffering from the suffocated of air. Moreover, another issue why most student avoid using public transportation is the notion that it is less safe than having a personal means of transportation.

As conclusion would be that this is a good option that students UMP take. There are probably an equal number of pros and cons to making either choice. Ultimately, whether you decide to use a car by rent from the seniors or public transportation depends on your own perspective.
