This video is the interview of a former barista who used to work at Starbucks Coffee. As a barista his job was to fastly serve all the drinks and to be nice with the customers (clients). He described his job environment which was very positive. He was part of a teamwork (travail d'équipe). Everyone had to be competent and efficient, but also smily and nice. He explained how he got the job by filling an application form online. Afterwards, he made a 10-minutes screening interview (skype) where he was asked questions and had to do a simple maths test. He proceeded with a group-based interview where he was asked questions by his teammates (équipiers). And he finally got his promotion to starbucks. He concluded with advice to people who are seeking to gain employment. He recommendedthem to be very positive and sociable to be part of the team and to satisfy the customer.

The conclusion of José was that people judge all the time and can be racist when it is about employment.

This is a video about Steven Levy, a journalist, who gives tips (conseils) to get a job at Google, a very selective company. 

 According to him, you must be smart and nimble-minded (habile). Then, you have to be technical and computer savvy (doué en informatique). Furthermore, you must have good results in high-school and college. But your school also has to be really appealing. It has to be prestigious (like Stanford) because it will make it easier to be employed at Google. Finally, The best asset (atout) to get a job at Google is to do something extraordinary to make you stand out (se distinguer).

First, he thinks that having acquaintances (relations) in an office and with your family is better than sending resumes (CV).

Then, he says that you should get closer to teachers and professionnals you work well with. It helps you to get noticed by employers.

Furthermore, he recommends to use social medias to find jobs. This way, it is easier to introduce yourself and to be creative.

Finally, his last advice is about the first contact with the employer. You need to look like a hard worker. But also, you have to be teachable, polite and conscientious.
