One individual would make a mark and then the other individual would make a mark after them and then this process would be repeated. This was very interesting as each individual had a different marks but by adding onto each others marks. This was a lot of fun and very relaxing and it was interesting to see how your mark could be made into something else. It was very relaxing to paint it and after everyone had finished painting it was very interesting when the lecturer held up the different completed pictures and the class had to guess who it was. We allowed the participants to pick the songs which we played as everybody has different happy and sad songs. After we completed this task, Caroline explained to us the three different types of scribbling. This was very interesting how the three diferent types were present throughout the class but they were all expressed very different by each individual. Before this class I did not know that there was different types of scribblings before this class I always just thought that scribbling was scribbling. It was very interesting to see how each individual in the class drew something different for each shape given, no two were even similar in the whole class. This really put emphasis on how the unconscious mind works. The second activity which we completed in this glass was when we were given a piece of string and water with food colouring and told to express ourselves on the piece of paper.
